The wonderful felt bow was made using one of my favorite tools, the Bow Easy!

This image was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.   I've used a mixture of Autumn Flower Soft and Ultra Fine Citrus Crush Flower Soft for the one potted flower.  The background scene (sky and ground) has been airbrushed with my Copic ABS.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and arrangement consists of Cherry Blossoms, 25mm Rose, 15mm Roses.  All flowers have been sparklized with Platinum Stickles.

And just in case you missed my SNEAK PEEK post from this week:

SCACD Little Acorn Sneak Peek

I'm SUPER pumped today because I get to share with you a preview from the DUAL MINI RELEASE from SCACD!  If you haven't read my previous posts.....I'll share the info again, we are having two mini releases--one from Elisabeth Bell and one from Victoria Case for SCACD!  Both of these mini sets will be released this Thursday (Sept. 30th) so mark your calendars because you don't want to miss this release....I'm telling you they are all a MUST have!!!!  And don't forget that Susana has some AMAZING Blog Candy at the store blog!  Click -->HERE<-- to go and enter!  So today I'm using one of the cute NEW Victoria Case images called "Little Acorn" from the Mini Little Acorn Set!
She's so sweet with her cute little ladybug!  She's definitely a favorite from this new release....I absolutely love her!  Papers are from the NEW Basic Grey Pyrus Collection, boy do I love this stack!  Gorgeous colors!  Corners have been jazzed up with my Viva Decor Dark Brown Pearl Pen.

Little Acorn was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  Her little ladybug friend was decorated with my TonerTex pen and Red FoilViva Decor Glitter Liner in Hologram was used on her hair ties for extra sparkle.  Stamped the swirly leaf frame and then used Metallic Rub On in Sky Blue to add a soft shimmer to the edges.  Love the sparkle and shimmer that the Metallic Rub On adds!
As I promised last night, this card also showcases the Epiphany Crafts Flower 20 Button Maker!  I love how you can customize your buttons to match your project with these fun tools, and I think they are very reasonably priced, and SUPER EASY to use!  They truly punch like a dream.  If you have arthritis or problems with your hands and you are worried about punches being too tough for you, these certainly are NOT a concern at all!  You hardly use any pressure when punching.  I've also used my Bow Easy to create the beautiful bow.
Flowers are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts.  Arrangement consists of 35mm Large Wild Rose, 25mm Wild Roses, Aster Daisies, 15mm Rose, 8mm semi-open roses, 5mm closed rosebud.  All flowers started out white, I used my Copic ABS to get the exact colors to match my card.  Then flowers got a coat of Illuminate Smooch to jazz them up!

I hope you've enjoyed this sneak peek!  Wait until you see the rest of the collection at the SCACD DT's Blog Hop on Thursday, Sept. 30th....seriously all these stamps are gotta haves!!! :)  If you haven't already signed up for Susana's WONDERFUL NEW RELEASE CANDY, make sure you head over to the SCACD Store Blog HERE to sign up now, you only have until Wednesday to sign up!

Epiphany Crafts Spotlight

Do you remember -->this card<-- that I posted the other day for the WOJ Challenge.  Well tonight I would love to share a special tool that I used on that card.  Do you remember me talking about the Epiphany Crafts Button Makers?  These makers are absolutely amazing!
These gorgeous Epoxy Baubles were made using the Solid Round 14 Maker and Round 14 Bubble Caps.  These are SUPER easy to use!  It seriously took me 30 seconds to whip both of these baubles together!  All you do is select the design paper you want to use, slide that into your maker, place your clear bauble or clear button cap on top in the specified space in the maker, replace the button holder, close the cover and punch!  It's that EASY....and the magic of these makers is that you can make these baubles/buttons to match the theme/design of your project....like I used parts of my dp to make these matching baubles!
Here you can see a sample using the Flower 20 Button Maker and Flower 20 Button Caps.  And if these samples aren't enough, come back tomorrow for a Very Special Sneak Peek that uses the Flower 20 Button maker as well! :)

If you haven't ordered your Epiphany Crafts Makers yet....you really need to head over to SCACD and order yours tonight!  These are seriously a must have in my book!

*** Don't forget to sign up for the Amazing Blog Candy that Susana is offering over at the SCACD Store Blog!  You have the chance to win some AWESOME New Release Stamps!!!!  Susana is so generous!!!  You only have until Wednesday to sign up!***

Happy Wednesday~

Are you ready for another Whiff of Joy Challenge?  This week we are celebrating a very special milestone over at the WOJ Challenge Blog....it's our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!  And seeing how we wouldn't have a wonderful challenge blog without our Whiff of Joy stamps.....this challenge we are devoting to a Special Thank You Challenge!  We would love to thank Whiff of Joy, Katharina (owner of WOJ), Simon Says Stamp, present and past DT members, and most importantly you our followers and participants because without all of you we wouldn't have this fun challenge blog!

Flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Arrangement 1 consists of a 25mm Rose, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm rose, and pink crystal stems.  Flowers were accented with Star Dust Stickles.
Arrangement 2 consists of 4mm closed rosebuds, 5mm closed rosebud, Gypsophila Stem, pearl sprays, pearl stars.  The bow was made with my Bow Easy, I just love the double sided ribbon.
Here is an angled view of Willow.  Here you can see the Star Dust Stickles that I have used on her shirt, pocket, and flowers on her jeans.  You also can see the Diamond Glaze that I added over her mug to make it appear more real.

TIOT 84 - Anything But a Square

Happy Weekend!

I hope you are having some fun this weekend!  WOW another week of school has gone by!  This semester sure is flying by....must be because I am really enjoying my classes!  However, with a busy week full of homework means not a lot of crafty time. :(  I did finally get my TIO*T* card done for this week! YAY!  Suzanne has challenged us to create a card that is ANYTHING BUT A SQUARE!  Oh I love making fun shaped easel cards!!!  So I grabbed my SB Labels 11 and went to work!
The cutie on this card is one of the new Animapeeps from the newest Elisabeth Bell for SCACD collection....her name is Just Ducky.  Speaking on NEW....I have a bunch of NEW goodies on this card!  The wonderful papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather collection.  These papers are so beautiful....there are gorgeous holiday papers in here as well as papers that can be used for any occasion, like those that I've used on this card.  And my FAVORITE new tool  that I have used on this card is the Epiphany Crafts flower button maker!  See those oh so cute flower buttons....I made them myself with the papers from the Mitten Weather Cosmo Cricket collection!  I love how easy it was to make buttons that matched my project perfectly!  These makers are a dream to use, SUPER easy, and MEGA fun!  I think it took me less than 2 minutes to make both customized buttons!  You seriously need to get one of these!  I can't wait to use my solid round one now! :)
Isn't Just Ducky so adorable?  She seriously is a dream to color!  I've colored her with Copics and and then accented her with my TonerTex Pen and have used Diamond Glaze on her eyes.  I've used the TonerTex pen and Glitters on her hair bow and boots.  Then this sweetie's umbrella was accented using the TonerTex pen and Foils.  Love the holographic foils, they are so gorgeous!  Here you can see a close up of the Epiphany button too!
The bottom of the card holds a sentiment so this card can be used for any occasion, and again showcases the Epiphany button!
Finally, a side view to share the dimension and shine with you.  The umbrella has been double popped up so that it sits higher than Just Ducky.  I hope you have enjoyed my Anything But a Square card, make sure you head over to the SCACD Blog to see what my DT Sisters have made!  I hope you come back soon, as I have some more goodies to share with you soon!

An Inky Sneak Peek

Good Morning~
I hope you are enjoying the last day of your weekend!  My hubby was gone all weekend to a snowmobile show with his buddies and he returns home today, I can't wait...I miss him lots!  It's so hard to sleep when he's not home.

Today is my day to share my Inky Impressions SNEAK PEEK with you as this month's guest designer!  Every day for the next week there will be a new post on the Inky Impressions Blog showing you the brand new images. Following sneak peek week we will then have a blog hop along with the release of these new cuties!  Now without further ado....

Meet Lili playing in the leaves!
Isn't she so sweet, having a blast outside!  Oh how I wish I could be outside but the ragweed is really raising havoc with my sinuses...guess that means more crafty time inside!  Papers are from Inque Boutique Memoirs collection.  The large dark blue scalloped circle is made with my Marianne design die that I got at CHA.  Lili has been cut our with a SB labels 14 and popped up on a SB beaded oval.  The dark blue pearls in the corners of the card are a combination of 3mm and 5mm self adhesive pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts

Lili was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  After cutting her out with my SB labels 14 die I left her in the die and airbrushed around the image with my B000 Copic to get a "sky" background.  The small pearls on the beaded oval die are also 3mm pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The blue twine behind Lili started out white and was airbrushed, and then I tied on a lovely leaf charm (from Inky Impressions) that matches the image perfectly.  You can find Inky Impressions charms -->here<--.  I colored the charm with a red, yellow, and orange Copic to match the leaves in the image.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and consist of 25mm Roses, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm roses, and 3mm pearls.
The second flower collection consists of 15mm roses.  All of the flowers have been sparkalized with Illuminate Smooch.  You can also see how the charm has been colored with Copics in this view.

I hope you have enjoyed my sneaky peek!  Don't forget to stop by the Inky Impressions Blog all week to see all the other wonderful new stamps and samples by the amazing DT!

WOJ #87 - Layers

Hello Friends~ WOW it's Wednesday already...the week is just flying by, isn't it?!  It's Whiff of Joy Challenge day!  Woo-Hoo!  Today our fun challenge for you is to USE LAYERS, you must use at least 4 layers on your card for this week's challenge!  I have actually used 5 layers on my card! :)
This is the first Christmas card of the year that I have made...thought I should kick it in gear, seeing how last year I ran out of time! lol!  This cutie is a Norma Fickle Gnome named Uru and Candy Cane.  Papers are from Memory Box Mistletoe Collection....these are all so gorgeous, such a wonderful array of Christmas papers! Edges of the layers have been distressed with my Distress-It-All and then blinged up with Diamond Stickles.
Miss. Uru has been Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  She was cut out and then popped up on top of a SB Labels 14.  The red dots on her dress were glitterized with the fabulous TonerTex Pen and Glitters. If you haven't gotten your TonerTex set yet what are you waiting for.....this pen is so amazing and makes adding glitter SO MUCH EASIER...you don't waste hardly any glitter.  I don't know about you but with regular glue and glitter I waste so much of the glitter.  :(  This product totally took care of that problem! :)  Plus the pen can be used with the fabulous Foils too!
The Poinsettia Flowers are from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts!  Oh my goodness are these perfect for Christmas cards.  They come with a yellow stamen center, however I took my flowers apart and used my Twinklets to bling them up.  Then put them back together and used my Pearl Stamens in the center instead.
Here are the smaller two Poinsettias that been given the same treatment as the large one above!

I can't wait to see what you create with this week's challenge!  I'm off to school right now....get to learn more Accounting and then have my Advertising class today!  It's so nice have the 5 classes spread over 4 days....even though that means more driving to school.

One quick question before I leave.  I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't been adding the recipe to the end of my posts....I'm wondering how many people would like me to bring the recipe section back to my blog?  Does it help...or would you rather me just post the products in the post where the pictures are?  Thanks in advance for the feedback....I want to do what makes my readers happy! :)

MAMM #3 - Inka Gold & TonerTex

Hello again Friends~

WOW can you believe it's already the first Monday of the month?  WOW where did summer go huh?!  Sorry it' now Monday night....I ended up going to our town parade this morning and then to the carnival again for a while....then had to come home and do homework and now I can finally post some fun for you!!!

Sooooo since it's the 1st Monday of the Monday that means it's MAKE A MESS MONDAY over at SCACD!  Today Marti and I are showcasing the wonderful Viva Decor Inka Gold!  Don't let the name fool you...Inka Gold comes in MANY colors!!!  A little bit about Inka Gold....it is a creamy metal gloss paint that is very easy to apply.  Inka Gold can be applied to many surafces including paper, wood, polymer clay....it works best on absorbent/porous surfaces.  It's fast drying and once dry can be polished to bring out an even glossier shine.  When dry the finish is like a metallic gloss!  I love this stuff!!!!
First I took a wooden box....no primer needed.....then dipped my fingers into my Violet Inka gold jar and start rubbing the paste all over the box.  Normally when I use acrylic paint to paint wood it takes many many many coats....BUT with Inka Gold it only took ONE COAT to cover the whole box completely!  The paste spreads super easy, and if you don't want to get your fingers dirty (although it washes easily off with soap and water) you can use a foam brush to paint the paste on.  Once the paint is dry you can then take a paper towel and rub in circular motions to buff the paint which will leave a glossy shine!  Seriously this stuff is awesome!!!!
Next I decided to try using the Inka Gold in the context of a card!  I used the Viva Decor Inka Gold in Steel Blue for my next project!
For this card I've once again used my Kraftin Kimmie Arianna stamp set!  DP is once again from the fabulous Prima Fairy Flower collection.  The ocean scene that Arianna and her seahorse friend are popped up on is made using some WONDERFUL VIVA DECOR products!!!

Arianna, seaweed, and Mr. Seahorsy were colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen. For their awesome ocean I took a plain piece of white cardstock and covered it totally with Viva Decor Inka Gold in Steel Blue.  The wonderful thing about the Inka Gold is that a little bit goes a very long way!  After the Inka Gold dried on my paper I then took my Viva Decor Champagne Modeling Cream with just a teeny tiny bit of Dreamweaver Eye of Tiger Mica Powder.  Then I smoothed the modeling cream over the bottom portion of the paper, after the modeling cream was smoothed on I grabbed a paint brush and dabbed the edge of the brush all over for the textured effect.  Then I took my stencil brush, dipped it in the Eye of Tiger Mica powder, held the brush over my paper and tapped the edge of the brush so flecks of the mica powder fell on the modeling cream for the specks in the sand.  And voila you have one beach scene!  How cool is that?  And VERY easy to do!!!
Flowers are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts!  Arrangement consists of a large 35mm Wild Rose, two 25mm Hybrid Tea Roses, two 15mm roses, and two 10mm roses.
From this view you can see all the bling and sparkle to this magnificent mermaid!  Arianna has some gorgeous sparkles in her hair thanks to my Sakura Star Dust pen.  The amazing bling on her fins and tail are thanks to my TonerTex Pen and Foils. The foils are so easy to use and there are amazing and fun patterns you can get along with solid colors.  I'm hoping you can kind of see the metallic of the Steel Blue Inka Gold from this view too!

Now make sure you go and get your FUN Viva Decor Inka Gold to play with!!!  :)

**NEW PRODUCT ALERT** Susana has recently gotten a very unique crafting product in!  It's a line called Epiphany Crafts and these are indivudal tools where you can make your own customized buttons and epoxy bubbles (you know...the ones like Prima makes with the cute designs)...now you can make YOUR OWN  and they will match your creation PERFECTLY!  How awesome is that?!  Make sure you go and check these out...I think they are TOTALLY reasonable in price!  I sure can't wait to get my order now!!!
