PEEKER FEVER...Take 2!

Happy Friday Friends!  I hope you all enjoyed the sneak peeks of the amazing Peeker 2 Collection this week...if you missed my post showcasing the fabulous Mama's Purse Peeker scroll down to the next post to go have a looksy!  Today is the BIG day...you are finally able to purchase these beauties, which you can find -->here<--!  The fabulous SCACD DT has some fabulous inspiration for you today as well....if you came here from Suzanne's Blog then you are cruising along correctly!  If not head to the SCACD Store Blog to get the run down on today festivities!  Now I am please to introduce you to one of the "missing Peekers!"
Meet the ultra cute
This is one of the two missing Peeker stamps that hadn't been revealed in the sneak peeks that were going on all week!  When I saw this stamp I totally fell in love.....I love how you can use this stamp for any occasion you are celebrating, whether it be a birthday (as I have used for my card), a confirmation, holiday/Christmas, the possibilities are endless!  Papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue collection.  I absolutely adore this paper pad!
What's in the Box Peeker was colored with Copics and cut out using the SB labels 14 die.  While the image was still in the die I airbrushed around the edges to give the image a softer look and that beautiful white crisp edge. The bow of the present has been accented with Illuminate Smooch and Fruit Punch Stickles (on the dots).  The bow of Miss. Peeker's dress and headband have been sparklized with Star Dust Stickles.
The double bow was made using my handy dandy Bow Easy....I love how easy it is to make bows with this tool!  Mini flower arrangement was made with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers that consist of a 8mm semi-opened rose, 5mm closed rosebud, heart pin, and a small sequin butterfly.  The beautiful heart bauble was made using the fabulous and SUPER EASY Epiphany Crafts Heart Punch.  I took some of the stripped paper that I used on the card and hand made a matching accent...that is what I totally love about the Epiphany Crafts tools....you can customized embellies to match your project!
Finally the main flower arrangement was made using more WOC flowers that consist of Gardenias, 20mm Roses, 15mm Roses, Aster Daisies, 6mm closed rosebuds, Tea Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, and finished off with another small sequin butterfly.

Now make sure that you head off to the SCACD Store to order your very own Peeker 2 Collection!!!  For our over the pond friends, you can get your Peeker 2 Collection at Quixotic Paperie!  If you are looking for more inspiration head off to the talented Colleen's Blog!  I know she has something fantastic to share with you all today!

Shopping News:  Susana has some amazing NEW Bo Bunny Paper Pads and Trinkets in stock!  Also make sure you get one of the NEW NO SHIM Embossing Mats....let me tell ya this is an absolutely MUST HAVE...saw this item at CHA and I know I will be ordering mine ASAP!  It works like a dream...no more worrying about getting the right shims to emboss/cut your images!  And you can't wreck this mat either...it's dishwasher safe....and even flattens bottle caps without wrecking the mat or your machine!  LOVE this!!!

I found the template for my purse, here.  Surprisingly this was very easy to put together too!
The purse is held shut with a magnet and is perfect to house a gift card to give to someone special!  I hope that you have enjoyed my gift set!  Thanks again to everyone who left me comments yesterday, all of your kind words truly make my day!

Sneak Peeker - Day 2

Happy Monday Friends!  Thank you to everyone who stopped by and commented on my WOC Christmas in July post...it was so fun reading all of the fun comments from you all, they truly mean so much!!  **Winner of the WOC Candy has been posted below**

Boy oh boy do I have some more fun for you today! Do you remember the adorable Peekers by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD stamps?  I'm sure you fell in love with them as much as I did....well I am so excited to tell you that THE PEEKERS ARE BACK!!!  This collection is as adorable as the first and I know that you are going have to get this whole collection! :)

Release day is July 29 and stamps will be available at SCACD and at Quixotic Paperie for my UK/Europe friends!

PRIZE ALERT: If you leave a comment on my blog today you could win this gorgeous Peeker stamp that I'm previewing!  See the SCACD Blog for full details on the release and prizes that can be won!

I'm excited to introduce to you.....
MAMA'S PURSE PEEKER:
This little doll is rummaging through Mommy's purse and hit the jackpot!  I can see any little girl going through Mom's purse to see what she can find!  Papers are from the fabulous Kaisercraft Chapter One Collection (which happens to be 15% off right now at SCACD)...this is my new favorite paper pad!  LOVE the designs and colors!!!
Of course this little Peeker was colored using Copics and accented with a white gel pen and shaded with my pastel pencil.  The dots on her headband and top of her dress were sparklized with Star Dust Stickles.  The handle of the purse was glittered with my Silver Spica.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of a 40mm Tea Rose, 25mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, 15mm Rose, Hip Rosebuds, 8mm Semi-opened Rosebuds, 5mm Rosebuds, Rose Leaves, heart pin, and pearl stamens.  Flowers have been sparklized with  Star Dust Stickles. MS punch was used for border and then was accented with self adhesive Rhinestones.
Have you seen the Crystal Gel over at SCACD?  Oh my goodness....I finally got my hands on some of this Viva Crystal Gel and I have to tell you that I am totally in love with this!  To make my corner embellishments I used the Viva Decor Hologram Crystal Gel along with the Medallion Impression Mold.  This was sooooo easy to make, you just smear the crystal gel into your mold and allow the mold to sit for at least 3 hours to dry....I let mine sit over night.  Then you just peel the gel out of the mold after it's dry and it leaves NO MESS!  I LOVE that part!  Once I had my square medallion out of the mold I cut it in half to make this corner embellie!  Pure love and gotta love the easy factor to it too! :)  And a bonus is the lovely sparkle and glitz you get with the hologram crystal gel!!!
For this view you can see all the sparkle and glimmer of this beauty!

So now my question for you is:
DO YOU HAVE PEEKER FEVER?
I do!!!

Make sure you leave a comment for your chance to win this cutie pie!

Stop back tomorrow to see a gift set that I made to go with this card!

Copics Colors Used: Dress: BG11, BG15, BG18, G00, Purse: N1, N3, N5, N7, N10, Silver Spica, Rose: R81, R83, R85, Money: BG93, BG99, G40, YR23, YR28

WOC Christmas in July - Day 6

Good Morning Friends!  I hope you are enjoying the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts Christmas in July!  Today Dena and I are wrapping up all of the fun! I am so excited to have the pleasure of showcasing the fabulous Lots of Letters Lili of the Valley stamp.
Isn't this the most adorable and fun christmas image?!  I love it!  Papers are from Making Memories and have been accented with silver stickles.  Decorative Metal Corner is one of the many that Wild Orchid Crafts carries.....there is a fantastic selection so make sure you head over to WOC to take a peek at all of them!
Image has been colored with Copics and then I used my pastel pencil to shade....although I am not liking the "dirty" look I got on the pink and blue coats :(  Oh well we learn by trial and error, right?!  The snow got a coat of Star Dust Stickles and the fur on the little girl's hats got some Illuminate Smooch for even more sparkles!
Then there is the fabulous Wild Orchid flower arrangment!  I absolutely LOVE the Christmas Pointsettias, I used my Incredibly Tacky Glue and some of the NEW Kelly Green German Glass Glitter to accent this gorgeous flower.  You really NEED some of this glitter if you don't have any yet...it's so gorgeous in real life!!!  The rest of the arrangement consists of Poppies, Gypsophilas, 15mm Roses, 8mm semi-opened roses, and pearl stamens.

Now it wouldn't be Christmas without presents, so
Make sure that you leave a comment on this post by July 24th for your change to win this lovely prize sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts!

Now make sure you head over the Wild Orchids Crafts blog to check out the AMAZING creation by Dena and if you haven't seen the rest of the amazing DT's creations this week! :)

WOC #28 Happy Birthday WOC & Sketch

Happy Monday Everyone!  I am so relieved my first section of the CPA exam is done...I'm so hoping that I passed so I don't have to do that section over!  Now to wait the 4-8 weeks to get the results!  After the stressful week last week I'm excited to say that today I am Chicago bound....heading down to CHA!  I am so excited for this get away with my Mom!  We are going to have so much fun meeting up with all of our crafty friends who are able to attend the show!  The relaxing down time is so needed right now! :)

Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge day!  YAY...I'm so excited to be back creating after the terrible June my family had!  I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WILD ORCHID CRAFTS!  It's been a whole year that our challenge blog has been going, thanks to each and every one of you for joining us this past year....we hope to bring you so much fun in the next year ahead!  For today's challenge we have a beautiful sketch made by our very own Dena, and the added extra is to make sure that your card is a birthday card!
For my card I have used a brand new flower child stamp from SCACD....meet Hydrangea Hugs by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD!  Isn't she darling!  If you missed my other flower child post, click -->here<--.  Papers on this card are from the Prima Sweet Fairy collection.  The gorgeous Guipure lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Sentiment is from Verve Big Wish set.  Butterflies have been accented with self adhesive purple rhinestones which you can also get at WOC!
Little Miss Hydrangea Hugs was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencil.  She was cut out with the SB Labels 4.  Then I popped her up onto some fabulous new Venise Applique Lace Fans that WOC just got in!  Oh my goodness these fans are absolutely beautiful...and they also have Venise Lace Hearts and Butterflies! Behind the fans you can see a SB labels 9.
I had so much fun putting together the flower arrangements on this card!  WOC carries ALL of the flowers found on this card!  Arrangement 1 consists of Flat hydrangeas, 25mm Roses, 15mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Hip Rose, 8mm Semi open Rosebuds, 4mm Closed Rosebuds, heart pin, and self adhesive rhinestones.
Flower arrangement 2 consists of a gorgeous Organza Rose Trim flower (WOC has these in many different colors and you get a TON of flowers for your money!!!), Flat hydrangeas25mm Roses8mm Semi open Rosebuds, and 4mm Closed Rosebuds
From this angle you can see the beauty of the image.  I added Glossy Accents on the flower pot, Glamour Dust Crystal Paint on the bow, and Illuminate Smooch to the center of the flowers on her hat.
And one more view to share the dimension of the card!  This cutie is up for sale on my Shophandmade Store -->HERE<--!  For those unfamiliar with Shophandmade...it's exactly like Etsy! :)

Surprise....Just Because Release

Hi Friends~
I am sure you all have been wondering where the heck I have been!  This past month has been very hectic at our house!  Working full-time is amazing...I absolutely love my job....however in all of my free time I am studying my butt off to get my CPA licensure!  I take my first (of four) exam next Thursday....Eeeekkkkk!  I'm getting pretty nervous!  A couple weeks ago, my hubby and I went on a much needed vacation....we went to Myrtle Beach for a week.....had a fabulous time!  However, upon coming home we got some not so good news in our family, we found out that my Gramps was diagnosed with cancer.  The good thing is the doctors feel it is localized and after numerous tests have found that the cancer is not in his organs or bones...that was some good news.  He just started his chemo treatments this week.  If you could keep him in your prayers that would be greatly appreciated!  :)

When I found out about my Gramps my crafting mojo disappeared.  So that's the reason why I've been missing from blogland.  I'm slowly starting to come out of my "funk" and am starting to color again....which feels good....I forget how much of a stress relief coloring is for me....my Copics are GREAT therapy and my happy place....lol!  Now onto some fun.....

Today I have some fabulous images to share with you!  Susana has released some amazing new stamps  today at SCACD just because she wants to bring you even more fun!!!!  There are 2 gorgeous perfume bottles designed by Victoria Case and 2 new flower children designed by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD!  Meet one flower of the flower children.....Daisy Doll:
I absolutely adore Daisy Doll...she so reminds me of the Anne Geddes pictures!  I used this cutie pie for a baby card for our friend's who had a little girl 3 weeks ago!  Papers are from the Echo Park Springtime collection.  MS border punch edge has been accented using Self Adhesive Pink Rhinestones.
Daisy Doll has been colored with Copics and accented with my black pastel pencil.  Image has been cut out with a circle nestie and popped up on a SB Doily Motiff.  I then took my Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner and outlined the image.  The doily has been accented with my Viva Decor Rose Paper Pen, and Viva Decor Yellow Pearl Pen.  The Rose Paper Pen was also used to accent the butterflies along with Star Dust Stickles.
Flowers are from the fabulous WOC and arrangements consist of 35mm Trellis Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms, Hip Roses, and 8mm Semi-Opened Rosebuds.
I used my Illuminate Smooch to sparkle up the flower petals on Daisy Doll.  I love the soft shimmer that the Smooch adds.
And one more angle shot so you can see all the beautiful dimension!

Card #2 that I am sharing today features the brand new Flora Perfume Bottle by Victoria Case for SCACD!
Isn't this stamp dynamite?!!  I went for a shabby chic girlie-ness for this card!  I adore these perfume bottles soooo much!  They would make adorable wall hangings for that stylish girl that you know....AKA that would be my sister!  I am hoping to surprise her with two wall hanging with these new stamps!  You can find them both at SCACD -->HERE<--!  Paper are from the Echo Park Be Mine collection!  Bottom right corner has been accented with a filigree metal corner and the striped paper has been decorated with a gorgeous grey silk ribbon from WOC.
My perfume bottle has been colored with Copics and accented with my black pastel pencil....I am loving the depth that I can get by adding just this little bit of pencil shading!  Image has been cut out with a Labels one nestie and while the image was still in the nestie I lightly airbrushed the edges with my Copic RV11 to add a very subtle and soft edge.  The spray top of the bottle (pink part) and hearts were accented with Star Dust Stickles. For the black part of the spray top and the tassel I used my Crystal DecoArt Glamour Dust Paint to add a beautiful sparkle to the image...I LOVE this paint because it dries clear leaving behind all the stunning sparkle!  This definitely is a MUST HAVE product!
Flowers are from the fabulous WOC!  The main flower in my image is using the BRAND NEW Organza Rose Trim.  I cut one of the flowers off to use as a flower!  LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!!!  The rest of the arrangement consists of 35mm Trellis Roses, 20mm Roses, NEW Tulips, Gypsophilas, 4mm Closed Rosebuds, and 8mm Semi-Opened Rosebuds. Then I used some rhinestone swirls to accent the arrangement.
Finally one more angle view so you can get a look at the depth of this card!  I hope you have enjoyed my showcases of these new images!  RUN to SCACD to order yours today!  While you are there make sure you check out the paper pads....I hear Susana has an amazing sale going on with the paper this weekend!!!

For my European friends you can find these stamps at Quixotic Paperie -->HERE<--!  Make sure you head over to the store blog to find the links for the other fabulous designers to see what they have created with these gorgeous new stamps!  Don't forget to go and order yours today!
