Susana Loves Stamps Release Day!

Hi Friends~  I hope you are all having a fabulous Friday!  Today SCACD has a fabulous new release for you!  Susana Loves Stamps Eyes of Adventure Collection and Eyes of Fables Collection!  These sets are absolutely amazing!  Each individual stamp comes with a fantastic accessory stamp too!  BONUS...I love that!!!  If you are here from Dianne's Blog then you are in the right spot, if not the complete list of the hop can be found at the SCACD Blog.  I hope you enjoy your stop here at my blog!

I am happy to introduce to you:
As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I wanted to keep the card soft pastel colors, which is very hard for me color because I always want such dramatic colors.  The papers I have used are My Mind's Eye which you can find other fabulous MME Collections -->here<-- font="font">.
Vintage Eyes was colored with Copics and pastels.  Her gorgeous ruffled sash/bow got a coat of Diamond Stickles, along with all of her bows.  The middle of the sunflower got a coat of Star Dust Stickles.  Her eyes were accented using Diamond Glaze for the shine factor.
WOC Flower Arrangement consists of:  35mm Trellis Rose, 20mm Roses, 15mm Roses, Gypsophila, and flat back pearls.
For the corners I used the NEW Dies by SCACD Fancy Flower Corner Die.  This die comes in a set of two!  If you haven't checked out all of the amazing NEW Dies by SCACD, click -->here<-- font="font">  to go and see them!  The patterns and intricate details are amazing and cut like a dream!  I had NO problem what-so-ever cutting this corner die with my Grand Calibur...I didn't even need to use the wax paper trick!  That's how AWESOME these dies are!!  I had to get them all because I love them so much!  Now to find time to play with them all :)
Sentiment was accented with a WOC medium satin pearl bow.
Your next stop along the hop is the fabulous Chris' Blog!  I know she has something amazing for you to see!

Make sure you head over to the SCACD Store to purchase your very own Eyes of Adventure and Eyes of Fables Collections.  For our friends over seas you can purchase these at Quixotic Paperie.

WOC #59 - Fall Colors

Hi Everyone~ I hope you all had a great weekend!  Hubby and I are busy with building our new home so that is consuming a lot of our time!  I will be so excited when the house is finished!

Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day and this challenge we have for you is to use FALL COLORS!
For my card I have used Peace Hat by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.  I absolutely adore this cutie and she's so much fun to color!  Sorry for the muted pictures - I had to use my desk lamp as it starts getting darker earlier now...boo!  I would rather have it lighter outside longer! lol!  Papers are from Echo Park Dots & Stripes Candy Shoppe Collection and Simple Stories Documented Collection.  The orange stripe paper was cut using my TH Die and then I took my Luminarte Harvest Sol Silk and painted the edges and brushed on my Luminarte Solar Gold Mica powder....love the metallic edge I got!  The gorgeous lace, twine, and gingham ribbon are all from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts!
Peace Hat was colored with Copics and pastels.  Her hat bow, sash, and pants cuffs all got a coat of Diamond Stickles.  I edged the image by sponging TH Distressed Inks in Tea Dye, Brushed Corduroy, and Mustard Seed.
WOC flower arrangement was made using a Chrysanthemum, Carnations, 15mm Rose, 10mm Rose, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, 4mm Rosebuds, Gypsophila, and Flat Back Scallop Pearls.
And one more angled view for you!

WOC #58 - Layer It Up

Hi Friends~ I hope you are all doing great!  Thank you to everyone for the congratulations on my pregnancy!  Things are slowly getting better although I am still sick just not as frequent.  I can't wait for the day I'm not sick anymore :)

Today is another WOC Challenge Day and our challenge for you this time is LAYER IT UP!  You need to use at least 3 layers on your project.
Since babies are on my mind I have made a baby card for this challenge.  Card features lots of layers of DCWV papers.
Special Delivery Kraftin Kimmie stamp was colored with Copics and pastels.  The ribbon was accented with a gorgeous silver square ribbon slide that can be found at WOC.
WOC flower arrangement consists of a Classic Sweet Rose, 25mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, 10mm Rose, 8mm Semi-Opened Rose, 4mm Rosebuds which were all coated with Star Dust Stickles.
I hope you have enjoyed my creation!  Make sure you head to the WOC Challenge Blog to see the rest of the beautiful creations!
