Happy Monday...wow where does the time go?! This last week has been a longggg week! Seeing how it is busy season (AKA Tax Season) at work I pretty much spend all of my time at the office, good thing I really love numbers besides being crafty! ;) I hope this week goes by much faster (that means we are one week closer to the April 15th deadline....although this year it's April 17th thanks to the government)! LOL! Also this past week my hubby and I have been busy preparing for the building of our new home. We met with our architect and now I am even more exciting for our building adventure.....we have an awesome architect! I am so looking forward to the seeing the house plans that are in the works! My dream home is well on it's way to becoming a reality! YAY!

Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day! Yippy! :) WOW we were so happy to see all of the gorgeous entries during our past challenge! Just a friendly reminder: In order to qualify for the prize you need to follow the WOCC Rules. Now onto this week's fun.....This week we would LOVE to see your creations featuring ANIMALS!

My card features the beautiful Designing Dreams from the Odds & Ends Sampler by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. This was the project that came from the sneak peek that I shared with you all -->here<--. Papers are from Echo Park's For the Record Collection and Victoria Garden Collection.

Designing Dreams was colored with Copics and pastel pencils. She was then cut out using a SB Labels 14. Edges were inked with TH Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Then edges were blinged out with a Want2Scrap Rhinestone Sticker.....however you can also use WOC Self Adhesive Rhinestones for any edge that you have. Images was accented with Star Dust Stickles and Illuminate Smooch.

Copic Colors Used: Skin: E000, E00, E11, Hair: Y26, YR24, E25, E33, E53, Shirt: Y21, Y26, Y32, Pants: E71, E74, E77, E79, Kitten: W1, W3, W5, E41, E42, E43, Kitten's Collar: Y21, Y26, Y32, Flower: G28, YG11, YG25, YG67, R81, R83, R85, R89

Metal Decorative Corner Accents were coated with white paint. I love how easy it is to coat these beauties with any color paint to have them match any creation that you make.

Wild Orchid Crafts arrangement consists of a 40mm Trellis Rose (airbrushed to match card color theme), 25mm Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, 15mm Rose Leaves, Stamens, and a Decorative Crown Pin. Flowers have been glitzed with Star Dust Stickles.

As promised, I have a SCACD Fairy card to share with you tonight! This is Friendship Rose from the Fall Flora Fairies Set.

After I colored her I realized that I colored her almost exactly as when I made -->this card<-- with her! I've made my shaped card using a Go Kreate die. Papers are from the Memory Box Rhubarb Tart Collection (which is currently 20% off at SCACD).

Friendship Rose was colored with Copics and pastel pencils. Her wings and hair bow were glitzed with Star Dust Stickles. The dew drops on her dress were made with my Viva Decor Transparent Gloss Gel Pen...love the dimension one gets from using Viva Decor products! This cutie was popped up onto a SB Labels Six that was embossed with the Craft Concepts Carved Rose embossing folder. Then I used my SB Tags 2 to make the flourished frame.

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of: Rose from the Organza Rose Trim, 25mm Roses, 20mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gyposphila, and Small sequin butterflies.

The Rose was colored with Copics and pastel pencils. This gorgeous rose stamp comes along with Friendship Rose! Two stamps for the price of one...gotta love that! All of the fairies in the Fall and Spring Flora Fairy Stamp Sets come with a free flower stamp!

WOC #40 - Anything Goes

Welcome to the first Wild Orchid Challenge for 2012! Since it's the beginning of the year and everyone is still recuperating from the holidays we thought we would start out with an easy challenge for you all....this week's challenge is ANYTHING GOES! It doesn't get easier than that! :) Make sure you read the Wild Orchid Challenge Rules -->HERE<-- so that your entry qualifies for the lovely prize!

Unfortunately this Christmas was sad for our friend's family. Our friend lost his mother due to cancer on the early morning of Christmas. This is the card that I made for him and his family. Papers are from Kaisercraft Chanteuse. MS punch border has been blinged with Self Adhesive Rhinestones in pink. Top right corner was accented with a metal decorative corner.

Image and sentiment are from the Verve Forever in our Hearts collection. I love the sentiments that this stamp set as. Small Sequin butterflies were popped up with foam tape. Image edges were glitzed with Star Dust Stickles.

Wild Orchid Craft flower arrangement consists of: Carnations, 15mm Roses, 10mm Rose, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, Stamens, and 20mm Leaves.

The inside of the card uses more of this beautiful Kaisercraft paper! I love this flocked frame! Sentiment was cut out using a SB Labels 22 and was airbrushed while still in the die. Then I took the scroll from the SB Fleur de Lis Motifs set and created a beautiful frame for this sentiment.

I hope that this card let our friend know how much we are thinking of him during this difficult time! His mom truly was an amazing person who is no longer suffering and is now in peace.

Hello Friends! How are you all doing this fine day? As you are reading this I am on my way to the big city to take another one of my CPA Exams! Oh how I pray that I pass this section....these exams are really putting a damper on things for me! They make you wonder if you really picked the correct path in life....although I LOVE my job so I know I must be doing something right!

Dancing the Night Away

Do you all have plans for the New Year? My hubby and I will be celebrating at home, as my hubby has been busy working with no end in sight. Which is ok with me because I have been studying studying and even more studying this past week. I take my next CPA exam on Jan. 3rd....eeek! Hoping to pass this one! Yesterday I took a couple hours away from my book and decided to color for a bit.

This is my entry for the Color Me Creative - Holiday Color Challenge which was to use Gold, White & Cream! I had so much fun making this card.....and can you believe I used NO dp?! I was in awe myself! I was searching high and low for the perfect gold/cream/white dp and couldn't find what I wanted so I decided to make my own! The glittlery cream cardstock is from DCWV, and then I found some metallic gold cardstock and finally I made my own dp! My dp was made using Brilliance Gold Ink, a Sizzix embossing folder and some white cardstock. And I love how it turned out! My dp was decorated using my SB Edgeabilities (Classic Ric Rac and Classic Scallops) and finished off with some May Arts Lacey Ribbon. Sentiment is from PTI Mega Mixed Messages and was embossed using TH Gold Embossing powder.

This cutie is Happy Days by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD and she is a part of the Odds & Ends Sampler. I love this collection to pieces! Miss. Happy Days was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils. Her shoes, sweater cuffs, hair ties, and shirt got a gorgeous coat of Diamond Stickles. Her belt buckle was accented using my Gold Spica Pen.

Copic Colors Used: skirt/shirt/shoes/belt: YR20, YR24, Y15, Y26, Y28, Jacket: Y21, Y26, Y32, Hair: E33, E53, E57, E59, skin: E000, E00, E11, R11, R20.

Wild Orchid Crafts arrangement was made using a 35mm Trellis Rose, 25mm Wild Rose, 15mm Roses, 10mm Rose, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, Gold Glitter Holly Berries, Gypsophilas, Gold Heart Pin, and Decorative Crown pin. Flowers were glittered with Diamond Stickles because I love the gold sparkle that this leaves. And finally the arrangements was finished with some Zva Creative Gold Rhinestone Swirls.

And one more angled view so you can see all the shimmer, glitter, sparkle, and dimension! I hope you have enjoyed my creation!

WOW...can you believe we are on the eve of 2012?! I am amazed at how fast this past year has gone by! I know how easy it is to focus on all of the things we didn't do in the past year...but I find it's more important to look forward to what is to come! In 2012 my husband and I are looking forward to building our house and hopefully by the end of the year I will have my CPA license! WOW can you believe we are only days away from Christmas?! Are you all ready for the holiday season? I only have one more present to buy and that is for my hubby! My sister and I ventured out shopping on Saturday...wowsers was it busy....note to self.....do NOT wait until the weekend before Christmas to do your shopping next year! LOL! The people were crazy!!! However, my sister and I did have a very fun day!

I've made a very special card for a dear friend of mine who has gone through some trying times this year. I haven't inked up a lot of my Maggie stamps recently so I though I would use Starlight Tilda from the Merry Christmas 2010 collection for this card. Papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas Collection and edges have been accented with 80 grit Gold German Glass Glitter! I absolutely LOVE the added sparkle that this gives! Corners have been decorated with Decorative Metal Corners in Gold.

Tilda was colored with Copics and pastel pencils! Her wings were glitzed with Star Dust Stickles and her star was blinged with Gold Diamond Range Ultra Fine Flower Soft. She has been popped up onto a SB Blossom from the Blossom Tags & Accents Set.

Copic Colors Used: Hair: E34, E57, E59, E79, Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, Dress: E31, E50, E53, E55, RV34, RV69, RV39, Socks: RV34, RV69, RV39, Wand: Y21, Y26, Y28, E31, E49, E74.

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of: 25mm Rose, Cherry Blossom, 15mm Rose, 10mm Roses, Gold Glitter Holly Berries, Hip Rose, and Stamens. There's also branches made with my MS branch punch that were coated in Frosted Lace Stickles to make them appear like they just got a fresh coat of snow! 25mm Bown Gingham Ribbon and the gorgeous Pearl String Trim is also from WOC!

More WOC Flowers....mini upper arrangement has been accented with a gorgeous gold Snowflake Charm. Sentiment is from PTI and was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa.

WOC #38 - Easel Cards

Wow it's already another Monday! Time is really flying by this year..I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner....and I only have one Christmas present that is bought...eeekkk! I better get a move on it, LOL!

Today is Wild Orchid Challenge Day! Woo-Hoo....this challenge is to make an EASEL CARD! Oh how I love easel cards...I really wish I took the time to make more of them because they really are works of art that can be displayed!

I had lots of fun making this beauty! Seeing how I didn't get a chance to play along with the SCACD Stocking Stuffer Release Blog Hop on Friday I couldn't wait to play with my Stocking Stuffer Release stamps! I've used A Cuppa from the Odds & Ends Sampler by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. Isn't she a darling drinking her hot cocoa....or in my world it's Chai! This is what I look like EVERY MORNING drinking my chai...well I don't think I look that cute when I get out of bed though! LOL!

Little Miss A Cuppa was cut out using a SB Labels 10 die. I then took my Marianne Designs LR0116 and cut two of the frames and layered them to make the elegant border around this cutie pie...I love the look this creates! While my image was still in the SB die I took my TH Weathered Wood and sponged around the edges. Papers are from the Bo Bunny Snowfall Collection....ooooo do I LOVE me this paper pad!!!

A Cuppa was colored with Copics and then accented with my pastel pencils. Her cup was coated with Diamond Glaze and her hair bow was glitzed with Star Dust Stickles.

Copic Colors Used: Hair: E34, E51, E57, E59, Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, Dress: E0000, E30, E53, E55, Bows: BG000, BG15, BG45, BG49, Mug: B000, B02, B04, B16.

The fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts Flower Arrangement consists of a 40mm Trellis Rose, 25mm Roses, 15mm Roses, Aster Daisy, Gypsophilas, 4mm Rosebuds, and finished off with the swirls from my Marianne Designs LR0112. The white flowers were accented with Frosted Lace Stickles.

I LOVE this cotton lace and making this bow was so easy. Added a mini flower arrangement with an Aster Daisy, and two 4mm Rosebuds again coated with Frosted Lace Stickles. And what do you think of my snowflake charm? I used my Epiphany Solid Round 14 Tool (which happens to be 15% off at the SCACD Store) & Round 14 Bubble Cap to create the customized bobble and then placed it into one of the NEW Silver Charm Settings....and viola you have your VERY own customized charm to match your creation! How fun is that? I absolutely LOVE the Epiphany Tools because you can make customized items for your cards! If you are a matchy-match person these tools are definitely for you!!!

The bottom of my easel card features some more Wild Orchid goodness! The Tag was made using my Verve Glad Tidings stamp set and matching die. The snowflake on the tag was accented with Frosted Lace Stickles and the middle of the snowflake was glam'd up with a Large Blue Moonstone Brad. Mini flower arrangement is made with an Aster Daisy, 4mm Rosebuds, and Silver Padded Snowflakes.

Beauty Lies Within

Happy Cyber Monday Friends! I hope your weekend was fun and that your week is off to a great start! Today I am taking another CPA Exam....eeekkk! Any extra prayers that you can squeeze in for me today are greatly appreciated! I am so ready for this part of my life to be done...hopefully after today there are only 3 more exams that I need to take! Onto some crafty fun.....today I have some vintage fun to shre with you:

This card was made using LOTS of Wild Orchid Crafts and SCACD goodness! Papers are from the Prima Madeline Collection. I love the vintage look of this Guipure Lace, it adds such elegance to any card.

Tall Perfume Bottle by Victoria Case for SCACD was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils. I love the timelessness of this beauty! Image leaves have been accented with 100 grit Kelly Green German Glass Glitter! I absolutely LOVE the sparkle and glitz this glitter adds, it's definitely the best glitter on the market! I can see using this glitter to accent Christmas Trees for Christmas Cards. 3mm Self Adhesive Pearls from the Green Collection were added to the Magnolia DooHickey dragonflies.

The bow was made using some fabulous Chocolate Brown Raffia Ribbon and then topped off with a 15mm Rose. Scalloped Sentiment is actually a part of the Paper Collection that I hand cut out! I thought this sentiment worked wonderfully with the stamp!

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement was using a 35mm Trellis Rose, 30mm Wild Rose, 25mm Rose, 15mm Roses, and Gypsophilas in white and pink.

Happy Hunting

Here in Wisconsin we are right in the middle of Blaze Orange Season....otherwise known as Deer Hunting Season. I had made a gun shaped card for my father-in-law for his birthday so I thought now would be a great time to share :)

My hubby and father-in-law like guns so when I was brain storming for a birthday card for my father-in-law I was wondering if it would be even possible to attempt to make a gun shaped card. I asked my hubby what type of gun FIL liked and my hubby found the below picture on the internet for me:

Now I'm a total girlie girl and know NOTHING about guns.....So with this pictures printed off of the internet I set out to try and make my card. I was sooooo excited with how the finishing product turned out!

The only items I used to make this card were black and brown cardstock, foam tape, pastel pencils and a metal screw brad. There are many layers that have been popped up to make my gun appear realistic. The shading to make the gun appear metal was done with pastel pencils in black, gray, and white on black cardstock. And the handle was brown cardstock with the same shading from pastel pencils and the brad to finish it off.

And here is what the inside of the card looks like. I used my silver pen to write the message. Don't you just love how when you have an idea in your head and it turns out even better when you are finished? I hope you like my shaped card. I would love to hear your comments on it!

WOC #37 - A Child's Christmas

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent the weekend studying and helping my hubby make our Holiday Sign for our business that will go in our town's park for the display of Christmas Lights by area businesses! I'll have pictures to share real soon! :)

Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day! Our challenge for you this week is "A Child''s Christmas!" We want to see your creations featuring children at Christmastime! Remember: READ HERE to see the Challenge Rules to make sure your entry qualifies for the fabulous WOC prize!

When I was a little girl all I ever wanted for Christmas was dolls! When I saw this Kaisercraft Doll Form I knew it would be perfect to decorate Wild Orchid Crafts style! I started off by painting the heavy duty chipboard doll form white. Then accented with paper from the Kaisercraft Chapter 1 Collection (which is still 15% off at SCACD right now.)

The outline of the doll form was accented using 3mm self adhesive pearls from the green collection. Ribbon belt was fancified with an antique silver flower embellishment. Flower arrangement features Wild Orchid Craft flowers of: a 20mm Rose, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, and a Gypsophila. All flowers were sparklized with Star Dust Stickles.

Skirt trim was made using White Cotton Lace and then decorated with a antique metal flower. This flower started out gold...but I wanted it silver.....so I whipped out my Viva Decor Silver Precious Metals paint and voila now I have a silver flower :) This paint coats perfectly in JUST ONE COAT! I love this stuff and it gives off lots of metallic luster! Flower center is a Large Pearl Brad.

Flower arrangement at the base of the doll form is placed on top of a SB scalloped circle with flowers consisting of: 20mm Roses, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, Gypsophila, Carnations, Cherry Blossoms, 4mm Rosebuds, and Sweetheart Blossoms. To get all of those flowers to stay put I use the wonderful Crafter's Pick Incredibly Tacky Glue! This stuff is the bomb....works amazingly and keeps my flowers in the right place!

This beauty is a part of the Reflections Fantasy Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD. The moment I saw Miss. Masquerade I immediately knew I wanted to color her with blues....she so reminds me of an Ice Princess! Papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Masquerade was colored with Copics and accented with pastel pencils. Her wings got a coat of the beautiful DecoArt Crystal Glamour Dust Paint.....ooooo do I love all the sparkle this paint gives! I am a true girl...love the glitter and sparkle! hee hee!

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of: 30mm Wild Rose, 25mm Wild Rose, Sweetheart Blossom, Gyposophilas, 15mm Rose, 4mm Rosebuds, Stamens, and Silver Glitter Holly Berries. Arrangement was finished off with a Melissa Francis Snowflake.

Mini snowflake arrangement is another MF snowflake along with a Silver Padded Snowflake from WOC. Sentiment is Verve.

Lucky Horseshoe!

Hi Friends~ How have you all been? I've been busy studying for another CPA exam that is coming up the end of this month....oh how I can't wait for studying to be done....although that won't be for quite some time. As some of you may have noticed the SCACD Store was closed this past week for some maintenance....well the Store is NOW OPEN! So I hope you have your list made from window shopping....because now you can head to the store to buy all of your goodies! Susana has numerous NEW products and lots of items on sale so make sure you check them all out!

Today I have a fun shaped card to share with you using some FABULOUS Wild Orchid Crafts and SCACD products! This card also goes along with the current challenge over at Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Blog which is to use Blue & Brown on your creations!

My mother-in-law absolutely LOVES horses so when I was planning her birthday card I wanted to incorporate the horse theme into it. I decided that I was going to make her a Horseshoe shaped card, and I have to say I am very pleased with how it turned out. I used gray cardstock spritzed it with Tsukineko Silver Shimmer Spray and cut out my shape and then popped it up onto black cardstock so I could get the depth of the horseshoe. The metal accents are supposed to be the "nails" that they use to put the horseshoe onto horses hooves. The paper is from the Prima Madeline Collection (Susana has numerous Prima pads on sales right now that you can find -->here<--.)

Sentiment is from the Verve Big Wish Set and has been accented with Copics and cut out using my SB oval and blinged with Silver Stickles. Then the sentiment was popped up onto a SB scalloped oval. Flower arrangement uses some beautiful WOC flowers consisting of: a 25mm Wild Rose, 25mm Rose, 15mm Roses, Gypsophilas, Silver Holly Berries, Tulips, and Pearl Stars. Flowers have been accented with Diamond Stickles for even more bling and sparkle!

Raffia and Ribbon bow was made using my Bow Easy. Make sure you check out the amazing assortment of colors of Raffia that WOC carries!

I carried the horse theme onto the inside of the card too! I've used the Carousel Dreams by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD stamp which is a part of the Sampler Edition #5 Collection. I LOVE the elegance of this beautiful horsey! She was colored using Copics and accented with my pastel pencils.

Copic Colors Used: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49, BG11, BG15, BG49, G29, G21, and R21..

WOC #36 - Color Combo

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I attended an area craft show to sell some of my creations. It was such a fun day because I got to spend the WHOLE day with my Dad. Since my Mom (who is usually my side-kick at the craft shows) was unable to be there my Dad said he'd come help me set up and take down my booth. Below you can see what setting up my booth consists of. Two tables and a third that holds my cards.

This card display board was "hand crafted" by my hubby (I think I shared this with you all last year but I can't find the post...lol)....I tell him all the time secretly he's a crafter too!!! I told him I wanted some type of display to show off my cards and this is what he made for me before craft show season 2 years ago. I absolutely LOVE this display because it showcases over 100 of my cards at one time! The only draw back is you NEED two people to set it up and it's heavy. So that's where my Dad came into play yesterday...since he had the day off he said that he could help me!

And the fun thing was my Dad decided to stay with me for the whole day at the show! He was such a trooper! It was so much fun to share my crafting passion with him!

Now let's get onto some more fun...Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day! Today we would LOVE to see your creating featuring a fun color combo......Brown and Blue! I love these two colors together! **Make sure you read the WOCC Rules so that your entry qualifies for the fabulous prize that's so kindly donated by WOC!** I'd hate for your entry to not count towards the prize! :)

For this challenge I decided to make a fun gift card holder! And again can you believe another project that I created without my handy dandy Copics...LOL! Papers for this beauty are from the Bo Bunny Welcome Home collection. The beautiful white cotton lace is from the Wild Orchid Crafts. Bow was made with my Bow Easy.

Sentiment is from the Verve Better with You set and cut out using my Verve Classy Label. Border was stamped with my Hero Arts Fancy Flourishes stamp set, distressed with TH Brushed Corduroy distress ink, and then edged with Platinum Stickles. This was then popped up onto a SB Die from the Twisted Metal Frames Set and the top was accented with a small Pearl Brad.

Wild Orchid Craft flower arrangement is made using a 35mm Trellis Rose, Carnations, Sweetheart Blossoms, 10mm Roses, Gypsophilas, 4mm Rosebuds, a large iridescent Blue Butterfly, and a BRAND NEW Decorative Crown pin. Flowers were accented with Diamond Stickles.

Happy "Spooky" Halloween

Wow where is October go? I can't believe it is already Halloween today! I hope you all get lots of treats and no tricks! :) Today I have a fun Halloween card that I have made using some absolutely amazing and cute stamps!

I am a total Team Edward Girl! I fell head over heels for Edward when reading the Twilight Series books...which I can't wait for the next movie to come out later in November...my sister and I are counting down the days! :) When I got the Make It Crafty Monztaboyz Set (which is currently 25% off at SCACD) I immediately inked up the cute vampire...or if you were in my studio his name turned into Little Edward (wink wink)! The papers used are from the fabulous Echo Park Apothecary Emporium collection (which also happens to be 25% off at SCACD...think of all the savings you can get by ordering these Halloween items today...you'll be ahead of the game for next year at this time)!

My Little Edward was colored with Copics and cut out using my SB Circles, and then popped up onto a SB scalloped square.

Topped off with a Prima Delightful Day Glory Flower. Flower, leaves, and Mr. Batty were edged with Black Diamond Stickles.

I also got a chance to color the other Monztaboyz too....although I didn't get cards made for the other two boys.....but I wanted to at least share my colored images with you :)

Meet Mr. Headless Horseman! I still can't get over how fun these characters were to color. Of course they all were colored with Copics.

The windows were coated with Diamond Glaze (I wish it didn't get dark so early so that I could have gotten a better photo to capture the added depth and shine this adds!) Sentiment was computer generated and adhered to a SB Fancy Tag that was accented with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.

WOC #35 - Santa is Coming to Town!

Hi Friends...I hope you had a great weekend! My hubby and I spent the weekend in the big windy city...for those of you unfamiliar with the midwest that is Chicago, Illinois. Saturday we spent the day in the city...going to Navy Pier, taking a double decker bus tour, and checking out the downtown area. Sunday we went shopping at an outlet mall in one of the suburbs that we stayed by, and today we are heading back to the city for a convention for my hubby's work. It definitely has been a fun weekend for us....minus the heater not working in our hotel room....oh well!

Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge day! YAY! I love Mondays for this reason!!! Our challenge for you this week is SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN! That means you need to use Santa Claus on your project/card! Remember to head to the Wild Orchid Challenge Blog to double check the rules so that your project qualifies you for the fabulous project that is up for grabs! :)

For my card I have decided to make a shaped card this challenge! This cute little Santa is from a Stampendous set that I have. The shape of my card is made using the Marianne Design Creatable Die LR0112 Frame Circle. I absolutely LOVE the shape this die gives. I then cut out a SB circle and gathered lace behind it adhering the lace to the circle with Scor-tape. Papers are from the Echo Park Holly Jolly Collection.

Santa was colored with Copics. I added white flock to his beard, and Polar White Flower Soft (which is currently 15% off at SCACD) was used on the trim of his coat and hat. Santa was then cut out using my SB Lables 14 and airbrushed while still in the die.

The beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of 25mm Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, 10mm Rose, 8mm Semi-opened Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, Red holly berry, and Silver Padded Snowflakes. Flowers were glitzed up with my Diamond Stickles.

The edge around the red circle was blinged up with my Silver Stickles. I hope you have enjoyed my Santa creation! I can't wait to see your Santa Claus projects!

WOC #34 - Christmas Fun

YAY it's another WOC Challenge Day! We have a super fun challenge for you this week....we want to see your Christmas Creations! This week's challenge is Christmas Fun....create anything with a Christmas Theme!

Just a friendly reminder....in order to qualify for the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge you need to follow the following rules:

For my card I have used the NEW Where on the Tree Peeker from the Holiday Peekers Collection by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I love her blank ornament....it leaves so much to the imagination. I've decided to use a mini stamp and put the sentiment in the ornament...I have lots of other ideas circulating for this cutie too...so be on the look out for more fun with her! Papers are from the Bo Bunny Blitzen Collection.

This Peeker was colored with Copics and my pastel pencils, she was cut out and popped up onto a paper doilie. The top of the ornament and tag have been glitzed with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter....LOVE the sparkle to this glitter....like I've said before it's absolutely my FAVORITE glitter! If you haven't gotten any from Wild Orchid Crafts you really NEED to get some!

Wild Orchid Crafts flower arrangement consists of a large poinsettia (edged with 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter) topped with a 30mm Wild Rose, small poinsettias topped with Sweetheart Blossoms (edged with 100 grit Red German Glass Glitter), 25mm Silver Padded Snowflakes, Gypsophilas, 8mm Semi-opened Rosebuds, White Stamens, and Red Holly Berries. Arrangement was then finished off with two Pearl Swirls and some May Arts Ribbon.

Bow was made using my Bow Easy and then I added a 8mm Semi-opened Rosebud, and mini ringing bell. These bells are so adorable, I {heart} them to pieces! I think my hubby thinks I am weird as I was going around the house "ringing" my card! LOL!

Bottom right corner was accented with some gorgeous large Moonstone Brads. These are so beautiful in real life and add an amazing colorful shine to the card! Make sure you check out the different sizes in these beautiful Moonstones that Wild Orchid carries!

Hopefully from this picture you can see how dazzling the German Glass Glitter really is! It's so hard to photograph....but really this stuff is AMAZING!

Happy October! Are you all ready for fall....I know I'm sure not....I would much rather have warm weather....lol! Fall means that the dreaded *S* word is on the way....for those who don't live in the upper part of the States that dreaded word is snow....blech! But I do enjoy the holidays...so all in all it's not a bad time of year! Plus with fall comes football..and since my team....The Green Bay Packers are the reigning Super Bowl Champs..watching the Packers play makes fall more fun! Today I have a fun festive fall card to share with you!

Pumpkin Patch Peeker was colored with Copics and my pastel pencils. She was cut out using SB Labels 4 (which is 15% off now at SCACD) and while still in the die the sky and ground were airbrushed.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of a 35mm Trellis Rose, NEW Carnations, 15mm Roses, Hip Rosebuds, Tulips, Gypsophilas, Gold Glitter Holly Berries, 15 mm Rose Leaf, 25mm Rose Leaf, and a Heart Pin. I then added some black sparkly tulle to the ends of the arrangement. Flowers have been glitzed with Diamond Stickles.

Check out the beautiful Guipure Lace. Then I took some tan raffia ribbon and braided it for a fun edging above the lace. The triple raffia bow was made using my Bow Easy and then a decorative metal corner was added for a finishing touch.

Happy World Card Making Day

to all of my crafty friends! I hope that you all got some crafty time in today! Today our friend is getting married so the below is the wedding card that I made for the new Mr & Mrs!

This card features the beautiful Kaisercraft After 5 Collection. I was so excited when I found in my stash the SAME blue shimmery paper that the wedding invitation was made out of so I accented the Kaisercraft paper with the beautiful blue pearl shimmer paper. Lace is from Wild Orchid Craft and was woven with some silver ribbon from my stash. WOC also carries rhinestone swirls like the one in the bottom right corner.

Sentiment is from the Verve Love Story collection which was stamped on a cut out that comes with the Kaisercraft paper pad. I edged it with Silver Stickles and layered on top of a SB Circle and then a SB Doilie Motiff.

Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of a 35mm Trellis Rose, 20mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Babies Breath, Gypsophilas, and 5mm Rosebuds. Flowers were sparklized with Diamond Stickles. MS border was accented with 3mm self adhesive rhinestones.

Peeker FEVER...Round 3!

Are you ready for MORE Peeker Fever? You asked for them....and Susana defnitely has delivered! Today is the SURPRISE release of The Holiday Peekers by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD! Oh my word are these absolutely adorable! Without further ado....

It's my pleasure to introduce to you:

Festive Welcome Peeker:

Isn't she a doll? And the rest of the Peekers in this set are stunning just like this cutie! I can't wait to get more color time to share more with you all! Papers are from the Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas Collection.

Miss. Festive Welcome was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils. The trim on her dress and boots were coated with pink flock for that fun fuzzy coat look.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of: 25mm Rose, NEW Lilies, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, Aster Daisies, Cherry Blossom, and Rose Leaves which are all layered on top of a paper doilie.

Satin bow was made using my Bow Easy. Mini flower arrangement consists of Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophila, Silver Glitter Holly Berry, Heart pin, and Mini Decorative Bell. Bottom corner was accented with NEW Large Moonstone Brads.

Hopefully you can see all the bling and sparkle on this picture. Diamond Stickles was used on the band of her hat. Glamour Dust Crystal Paint was used on the bow. Diamond Glaze was added to her boots and the ground was coated with Illuminate Smooch.

WOC #33 - Stars that Sparkle

Another week has flown by....where does the time go? It's so hard to believe that it's almost October already....brrrr it's already getting cold here in Wisconsin....I can say I definitely am not ready for winter yet....nor fall for that matter. I got a little bit of crafty time in this weekend...between my CPA exam studying! I also got some HUGE news to share....my mom and I now have our creations featured in TWO local retail locations! I am so excited for this venture. For those of you who are in Wisconsin (or are traveling through Wisconsin) you can find our creations at:

Country Barn in Suring, WI; and

The Cracked Cup in Gillett, WI

Country Barn is a NEW retail store that has a huge variety of home decor and gift items! I just got a bunch of birthday gifts purchased this weekend!! The Cracked Cup is a local coffee shop that has a wide variety of handcrafted items for sale....so while you stop in to get your cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa you can stop and browse the amazing items for purchase! I am so thankful that these two owners have decided to display our projects for sale, I'm hoping this turns out to be a very successful adventure!

Now onto some crafty fun.....Today is another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day! YAY...this challenge was sooooo much fun! For this week's challenge we would LOVE to see your creations featuring STARS....and why not add some bling in there too, as stars love to twinkle!

For my creation this challenge I decided to make something altered. I took a wooden plaque that I got from Walmart and altered it to display this cutie pie and amazing sentiment. I got this lovely idea from my great friend, Kathy of Distressed Stamper, (her work is so gorgeous)! Thank you so much Kathy for the inspiration! The plaque was first painted with a mixture of pink and white acrylic paints. Papers are from the Prima Sweet Fairy collection.

This features the cutie pie Wish Upon a Star from the Sample Edition #5 Collection by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. She is from an older collection, but I never got the chance to ink her up and knew she would be PERFECT for this challenge! Of course she was colored with Copics, and accented with pastel pencils, cut out with a SB circle and popped up on a SB scalloped circle which was then accented with 3mm white self adhesive pearls and layered on top of cheese cloth.

I absolutely adore this sentiment, which I computer generated and cut out with nesties. Flowers are beautiful WOC flowers and arrangement consists of: 35mm Trellis Rose, 25mm Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, 15mm Roses, Hip Rosebuds, 8mm semi-opened Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, 5mm closed Rosebuds which all have been dazzled up with Diamond Stickles. Corner has been accented with a decorative metal corner embellishment.

Stars were punched out with various punches, then filled in all of the star leaving a small edge with Glossy Accents, sprinkled on my 100 grit Silver German Glass Glitter, shook off the access and set aside to dry. This glitter is absolutely amazing!! If you haven't gotten any yet, you really need to get some because it is absolutely GORGEOUS! It's so sparkly in real life...this is by far the BEST glitter that I have ever used!!! I can see using this A LOT especially for Holiday cards!

And an angled view to show you all the dimension of the plaque! I hope you have enjoyed my sample for this week's challenge! I can't wait to make another altered wooden plaque now :)

Precious Present Beauty

Happy Wednesday All! How is your week going? Have you gotten any crafty time in? Today I have yet another cutie to share with you all! Today I'm sharing Precious Present who is such a doll and a part of The Adventures of Poppy and Her Friends by the fabulous Sylvia Zet for SCACD!

I absolutely adore this cutie...wouldn't she be perfect for any type of party you are going too....bridal shower, baby shower, birthday....I love how these stamps have endless possibilities! Papers are from the Echo Park Dots & Stripes Candy Shoppe and Echo Park Victoria Garden Collections.

Of course coloring was with Copics and pastel pencils...is there anything else....lol! I've tried my hand coloring Gold, and I think it turned out pretty darn tootin' good! Don't you just love it when that happens?! Precious Present's eyes were glazed with Diamond Glaze. Star Dust Stickles was added to her beautiful wings! She was cut out with a SB Labels 3 and then that was edged in Diamond Stickles. The lace in the upper right hand corner is this beautiful lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And by now you should all know that I can't make anything without using Wild Orchid Crafts flowers...lol! This arrangement consists of: 35mm Trellis Rose, 20mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Tulips, 15mm Roses, Hip Rosebuds, 8mm semi-opened Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, 5mm closed Rosebuds with some May Arts ribbon woven in. The finishing touch on my flower arrangement is a beautiful pearl flourish, Wild Orchid has many stunning flourish swirls, -->here<--.

MS border punch was used and then accented with 3mm self adhesive pearls. Sentiment is from PTI and accented with more of these gorgeous pearls! I hope that you have enjoyed this cutie....she brings such a ray of sunshine to my day...and after the week I've had so far....I sure NEED some sunshine brought my way!

What's Your Wish?

Yay....Happy FRIDAY! Do you have any plans for this weekend? We are very busy this weekend.... my cousin gets married, can't wait to see the beautiful Princess! Then on Sunday hubby and I are going to another showcase of homes show to get more ideas for our home! Our preliminary drawings are with the architect...I'm so excited we are getting one step closer to our home...yay!!!

Today I have a fun SCACD card to share with you all:

This card features the beautiful 3 Wishes by Sylvia Zet for SCACD stamp! Isn't she so adorable with her very own magical fairy to grant her wishes? If you had a magical fairy what would you wish for? Papers are from Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth Collection!

Little Miss. 3 Wishes was colored with Copics and accented with none other than my pastel pencils. Her ribbon, pink trim on her dress, the fairy's wings, and the stars all got some beautiful star dust Stickles for bling. Diamond Glaze was added to her eye. Illuminate Smooch was used on the spots on the box for even more shimmer. Sentiment is from the Emerald Faerie Garden collection.

Wild Orchid Crafts flowers make up my corner arrangement which consists of: 30mm Wild Rose (accented with 3mm self adhesive rhinestones), 25mm Wild Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms, 8mm semi-opened Roses, 4mm closed Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, Pink Stamens, pearl stars, and a small pink sequin butterfly.

Corners were decorated with pink edged lace and a decorative metal corner, again accented with self adhesive rhinestones. The MS border edge was also blinged up using more of the rhinestones!

WOC #32 - Christmasy Sketch

Happy Monday Friends! Did you have a great weekend? Did you order your very own Sylvia Zet for SCACD stamps? Today I have another cutie from this fabulous collection! Seeing how it's Monday it's also time for another Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge! Woo-Hoo! Today we have a fabulous sketch for you to play along with....the twist is that you need to make a Christmas card! It's never to early to start your Christmas cards! :)

I promise I have used the sketch on my card....I turned the sketch and then went crazy creating with my WOC flowers! LOL! I have used Winter Wonder who is a part of The Adventures of Loli & her Friends stamp set by Sylvia Zet for SCACD. Isn't this image absolutely adorable for your Christmas cards? I can't wait to make another card using this image with blues! Papers are from Authentique Wonder Collection....I love the traditional-ness of this paper pad!

Little Miss Winter Wonder and her friend teddy were colored with Copics and shaded/highlighted with my pastel pencils. I've used white flock for this cutie pie's hat trim, coat and boot trim, as well as on teddy's hat trim. Diamond Glaze was used on the candle, teddy's eyes, and little wonder's eyes. The snow falling from the sky as well as the ground snow was accented with my Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner. I LOVE using these Glitter liners when you want dimension because it dries 3D instead of flat. Image was then outlined with my Silver Stickles.

Of course you all know by now that I can't make a card without using Wild Orchid Crafts flowers! lol! Flower arrangement consists of 30mm Wild Rose which has been accented with 100 grit Red German Glass Glitter, 25mm Poinsettias which have been accented with 100 grit Kelly Green German Glass Glitter, 15mm Roses (airbrushed) layered on top of Silver Padded Snowflakes, Silver Glitter Holly Berries, 8mm Semi-Opened Rosebuds, 5mm Closed Rosebuds, and Red and White Gypsophila. I used Divine Twine and my Bow Easy to make the triple bow. The MS punch edge is accented with 3mm self adhesive rhinestones and then layered on top of some gorgeous natural lace.

Upper flower arrangement consists of a 25mm Poinsettia again accented with 100 grit Red German Glass Glitter, Silver Glitter Holly Berries, 5mm Closed Rosebud, 10mm Rose, and a Silver Snowflake Charm....WOC carries loads of these beautiful charms. Make sure you check them out!

When I was creating this card I was feeling in a shabby chic kind of mood! I've used crackle paint on the edges of the papers as well as the doilie and flowers for some added chic-ness! Paper are from the gorgeous Authentique Uncommon Collection. Corner resin pieces are from Melissa Francis.

Poppy has been colored with Copics and then I used my pastel pencils to shade. Poppy's wings have been sparklized with Star Dust Stickles. Her headband and shirt were treated with Illuminate Smooch. Her eyes were given a coat of Diamond Glaze for the real-ness factor. The entire image was then lined with my Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner. The ladybug border was made with my MS punch and accented with some rhinestones....can you tell I am in love with bling?! LOL! Poppy likes bling too....she told me so!!!!

Here you can see the crackle paint on the flowers. Dark pink flowers with pearl center are Delightful Day Prima flowers! I love these tulle like flowers....they are so fun and gorgeous all in one! The remaining flowers are from WOC.

WOC #31 - Tags, Tags, Tags

Happy Monday Friends~ WOW hard to believe that this week is the week that I take my next CPA exam...I swear the weeks are just flying by this year....although I am secretly wishing that it was Thanksgiving....because hopefully by then (if I pass all sections) I will be all done with my exams!!! I can't wait to move onto the next chapter of my life...I am getting so sick of studying!

Next, I want to send a special thank you to everyone who took time to read my blog post below and pass along the information to help get the word out about the missing truck and driver. On Friday afternoon, Donny and his truck were found. Unfortunately Donny has passed away......I am sending lots of prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time! If you could take a moment and send up an extra prayer for Donny's family and friends that would be greatly appreciated!

Today I have some crafty fun....it's Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge day! Today's challenge is Tags, Tags, Tags, you need to create something with a tag! For my project I have decided to create a card shaped like a tag!

This is my second card shaped like a tag...you can see my first one -->here<--. This card features Friendship Rose who is one of the NEW Fall Flora Fairies that was just released this past Friday at SCACD. Papers are from the Echo Park Victoria Gardens Collection...the minute I saw this collection at CHA I immediately fell in love! The double sided papers are stunning! Wide White Lace was woven with Pink Salmon Vintage Seam Binding, which both can be purchased at Wild Orchid Crafts, they carry a wide variety of colors of Seam Binding and LOTS of gorgeous lace!

Friendship Rose was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils (black, grey, and white). Her wings have been accented with Star Dust Stickles, and the circles on her dress were sparklized with my Pink Spica Marker. She was cut out and popped up onto a SB Oval and SB Scalloped Oval which is layered on top of a paper lace doilie.

The beautiful flowers are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of a 35mm Trellis Rose, 25mm Wild Roses, Sweetheart Blossoms, Tea Rosebuds, Gypsophilas, and white Stamens. Flowers were blinged up using Star Dust Stickles.

Sentiment is from my Emerald Fairie Garden Set that I cut out with a SB circle and popped up onto a SB scalloped circle. Corner resin embellie is from Melissa Francis. My bow was made using some pink and brown Divine Twine and my Bow Easy. Bow was accented with some Gypsophilas and a cute mini polka dot button. Wild Orchid carries these buttons in a variety of colors and you get lots of buttons in your pack! Love these! Finally top of the card has some more beautiful cotton lace for the tag "strings."

Here you can see the inside of the card. Each Fall Flora Fairy comes with her very own coordinating flower stamp. I've used the Tulip stamp from the Tulipa stamp and colored it with Copics.

Edited to add: Thanks for everyone's help.....Donny and his truck have been found!

I know this is totally off topic....however I feel this is the least I can do to help! My brother is an over the road trucker driver and hauls food products to the west coast and back to Wisconsin for a company called Heim Trucking. I recently became aware that Heim Trucking is missing one of their truck's and its driver....they haven't been able to contact the driver since Monday, and he was supposed to unload his truck yesterday, but never showed up. This is totally out of character for this gentleman, and no one can get ahold of him. We are worried that he may have had an illness, been in an accident, or something much worse may have happened. If you could please take a few minutes to read the below info, and if you are in the Spokane, WA or Montana area if you could please keep a look out for this semi truck and driver that is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Fairy Wishes to You

Happy Friday Friends....while I hope you are all enjoying your day....I have my nose in my book studying away....gearing up for my CPA exam next week Wednesday (which I am starting to get nervous for)! Tomorrow I am taking a break from studying and am heading to the spa with my sister for some much needed relaxation time....hopefully it helps my brain relax so that it remembers all of the pertinent info for next Wednesday!

Today I have LOTS of crafty fun that I get to share with you!

Finally: If all of that wasn't enough to make you want to faint.....today Susana has another SURPRISE!!! That's right we have a SURPRISE stamp release to share with you all! These fairies are absolutely darling...I can't get enough of them! For my card I have used papers from the Brand NEW Bo Bunny Garden Girl Collection. Fairy Wishes sentiment is from the Emerald Fairy Sentiment Set that Susana has in stock at SCACD....this sentiment set goes PERFECT with the fall flora fairies being released today!

Of course I colored this cutie with my Copics. Along with my black pastel pencil I also used a gray and white pastel pencils for shading and highlights. Image was cut out using my SB Labels 14 die, and while it was left in the die I airbrushed the sky with my Copic ABS. If you look closely you will see I used some beautiful purple glitter to accent my sentiment. This was so easy to add with the help of my TonerTex Pen. The pearl star in the upper right hand corner of the picture is from Wild Orchid.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and arrangement consists of a 40mm Curly Wild Rose, 25mm Wild Roses, Cherry Blossom, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, Purple Stamens, and a small sequin butterfly. Flowers have been sparkalized with my Diamond Stickles. Edge has been punched with a MS punch and accented with Self adhesive rhinestones.

For this angle you can see all the sparkles! Tulipa has been glamorized to the max! I've used Star Dust Stickles on her wings as well as the butterfly. Then I took my Crystal Glamour Dust Paint and coated the pink parts on her dress....seriously if you haven't gotten this paint yet what are you waiting for! It's so easy to use, dries quickly, and gives amazing sparkle and color!

Natural Beauty

Hi Crafty Friends.....this week is another crazy week in the wonderful world of Kim....I'm gearing up to take my Section 2 of my CPA Exam....eeekkkk....next Wednesday is coming up toooooo fast! Although I am feeling a little bit better about the topics in this exam vs. the last one. Hopefully that means something good!

Since I didn't get a chance to play with my Natural Beauty Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD that much I decided to use one of these beauties...

When I saw Naturally Styled I immediately thought of making a bridal card. This shabby chic card would be perfect for a bridal shower....or even for a wedding card! Papers are from the Melissa Frances 5th Avenue Collection....I absolutely {heart} these gorgeous papers!!!

Naturally Stylized has been colored with Copics. The white on the dress has been accented with my Crystal Glamour Dust paint. I love the multi-color sparkles in this beautiful paint!!!

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Arrangement consists of a 35mm Trellis Rose, 20mm Roses, 8mm semi-opened Roses, 4mm Closed Rosebuds, Hip Roses, and Gypsophilas. If you look closely you can see that the Hip Roses have been inter-twined into some gorgeous Raffia Ribbon. I've used the cream raffia on my card, Wild Orchid carries raffia in a wide selection of colors....make sure you go and check them out because they are GORGEOUS! Then I took some vintage findings to accent my flower arrangement.

The cream panel behind my stamped image has been hand stamped. Isn't that medallion image beautiful?! I used the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose stamp set and my rich cocoa memento ink to create this beautiful background.

Here you can see a close up of the raffia ribbon. Also you can see how I used my zutter paper distresser and crackle paint to create my shabby chic look.

And finally an angled view for the dimension. The beautiful bow was created with 12mm (1/2 in) silk ribbon and a 10mm Rose from Wild Orchid. Sentiment is a Kimmie's Everyday Sentiments from Kraftin Kimmie stamps.

I can't seem to find the list of my Copic Colors that I used on this beauty. I will try to find the list and update this post. :)

WOC #30 - A Fun Sketch

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! My hubby and I went and toured some newly built houses this weekend to get ideas....we are planning on building our house this coming spring! We had such a great day and got a lot of good ideas and are both feeling pretty good about this building process. Before touring these homes we were pretty clueless as to what we really wanted nor knowing what we liked and didn't like. All we knew was that we wanted a one story house with a basement! We are now to the point where we are ready to meet with a builder and architect because we pretty much know what we want! We are so excited to be starting this process....I really thought this building process was going to be so hard because there would be so many decisions that have to be made but we already have a good grasp on what we like....YAY!!!

Now onto some crafty fun.....today is another Wild Orchid Challenge Day! This week we have an amazing sketch by our very own Dena! I had so much fun using her sketch and can't wait to use it again! I hope you all have as much fun with it as I did!

For my card I have used another Peeker Stamp....this one is Sweet Cheeks Peeker by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD! Isn't she darling with her little bum sticking out of her bottom?! LOL and that innocent look like "I didn't do anything wrong" or she is deep in thought thinking of something special! Paper are from the Echo Park Springtime Collection...I so {heart} this collection...gorgeous patterns and colors!

After I got going with the top of the card I decided to make an easel card since it's been a while since I made one of those!

Little Sweet Cheeks was colored with Copics and I accented her shirt with my white gel pen adding some polka dots. She was then cut out with my SB Labels 14 and then edges were airbrushed with my Copic ABS.

Flowers of course are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Carfts! Arrangement consists of a pink classic sweet rose, 25mm hybrid tea roses (that were airbrushed), yellow poppies, white and pink Aster Daisies, pink and white Gysophilas, 10mm rose, 8mm semi-opened roses, 5mm closed rosebuds, heart pin, and small sequin butterflies. Flowers have been sparklized with star dust stickles.

I took my crackle paint and painted a gold metal decorative corner piece to make it white. After the crackle paint dried it wanted to chip off so to seal it I took my Crystal Glamour Dust paint and put a layer of that over the top which sealed the crackle paint so I still got the antique look I wanted but also added a very nice shimmer to my corner which I absolutely loved! I finished off the corner accent with a self adhesive rhinestone. The doily behind my kraft scalloped circle is actually -->this<-- beautiful white cotton lace that I gathered behind my scalloped circle (which I made using one of my SB grand dies) by using some Scor-tape...I really love this look that I achieved with the lace! The multi loop bow was made with this fabulous Divine Baker's twine (which Wild Orchid carries in MANY beautiful colors) and with the help of my bow easy this was very easy to whip together. Finished off the bow with an Aster Daisy and of course some more star dust stickles.

The bottom panel of my easel card was made with my Magnolia tag. I again used the same white cotton lace to accent the bottom of the tag. The tassel of the tag was again using my Divine Baker's twine and some Jute String. I also used some pink vintage seam binding for the bow of my tag and accented that bow with a 10mm rose. Check out that gorgeous metal butterfly....when I saw all the gorgeous filigree swirls on this I fell in love. Wild Orchid Crafts carries this stunning metal butterfly. I then took some 3mm self adhesive pearls and accented this beauty even more....which I absolutely love! You will also see another decorative metal corner piece that I altered the same as the one on the top of the card.

From this view you can see all the sparkle and glitz from my star dust stickles!

Peeking In to Say HI!

I hope you are enjoying your week....good news it's the weekend!! YAY!! I can tell you that I totally am controlling my fever by creating with this cuties! Today I am sharing my creation using Secret Garden Peeker! Make sure you grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa, as this post is a bit lengthy....hee hee

Seriously I am soooo in love with all of these adorable Peekers!!! Miss. Secret Garden Peeker is so cute, I love how she is so shy, but yet wants to hop on over the fence to go and play with her friends! The papers I have used on this cutie are the gorgeous and oh-so-stunning Kaisercraft Blae & Ivy! OMG if you haven't ordered yours yet you sooooo need to get this pad...I love the elegance and beauty in each and every sheet in this pad! And it has to be good if I love it and there is NO pink in it! LOL! Susana has some AMAZING new 6x6 paper pads in too....you best go and order your favorites now before they are sold out! Sweet Garden Peeker was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencil. I airbrushed the sky around her.

The moment I saw this adorable Peeker I knew that I wanted to make a shaker card with her (Kylie has an amazing tutorial that I followed)! The scene of this stamp is perfect to add some Green German Glass Glitter (80 Grit) mixed with some Kelly Green German Glass Glitter (100 Grit) ...have you seen the German Glass Glitter that Wild Orchid Crafts carries...oh my word....this stuff take glitter to a WHOLE new level! The sparkle this glass glitter gives is totally out of this world....so much more sparkly that regular glitter!!! I'm totally in love!!! WOC carries this is many colors and in medium and fine grit levels...which also mix very well together!t

To make the shaker part of my card:

1. I cut my colored image out with my Labels 1 Spellbinder Die.

2. I also cut out a piece of acetate using the same die that I used in step 1.

3. I took my designer piece of paper and my Square Spellbinder Die and cut out a square. *Make sure that you leave enough edge around the square because you will also be cutting out the Label 1 again over top of the square.*

4. Now with the same piece of paper that you have from Step 3 with the missing square in the middle, take that Labels 1 die again from step 1 and place the die over the square opening (see I told you that you would be using this piece of paper again :) When you cut this out it will give you the deisgner paper frame.

5. Now Glue/tape (I used scor tape because it holds the best, in my opinion) your acetate piece to the back side of the frame that you just made in step 4.

6. Now you will place foam tape all the way around the back side edges of the frame, do not leave any gaps. (If you leave gaps then you will have glitter all over when you shake your card.)

7. Pour your glitter into the middle of your frame on the acetate.

8. Attach your colored image to the foam tape.

9. Finally, shake and look at the beauty you just created!

Now back to the contents of the card:

The lace is also from WOC! This is actually two types of the lace at the store. The top layer with the blue edging is White Kniting Lace with Baby Blue Edging which is layered on top of some Wide White Guipure Lace. The bow is created with some gorgeous silk ribbon and my Bow Easy...Gotta love being able to get the perfect bow every time! The corner was accented using a decorative metal corner...I so love the elegance that these add!

My flower arrangement was made using Wild Orchid flowers that consists of: 25mm Rose, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm Roses, the green 15mm roses are the moss green roses from the classic colour collection (love the beautiful deep color of these!), 5mm closed rosebuds, and Gypsophilas. The beautiful crochet butterfly is NEW Venise Lace at Wild Orchid...these appliques are stunning!!! I then added some gorgeous self adhesive pearls to accent this beauty as well as the sentiment on the card (sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie)! Foam tape was used to pop up the wings to appear that the butterfly has just landed on the card.

WOC #29 Beary Special

WOW where does the weekend go?! I swear I blink and it's already Monday morning! Although it's Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge day so I guess that makes it a good Monday Morning! :) This week we have some amazing beauties to share with you!!! Our challenge to you this time is to use Bears on your creation! I was so excited because that meant that I got to use one of my Kraftin' Kimmie stamps that I haven't gotten to use yet!

I used the Kraftin' Kimmie Goldilocks stamp and sentiment for this card....love that you get 2 sentiments when you purchase this stamp! Papers are from the Kaisercraft Blae & Ivy Collection...these are some beautiful papers....lots of greens and blues! Upper right hand corner of the card got accented with a decorative gold metal corner embellie....Wild Orchid has a whole variety of decorative corners...I love them all...and Bev has showed on her blog that you can paint them to match any card you are making!

Of course Miss. Goldilocks was colored with Copics and then accented with my pastel pencil for shading. She got some Diamond Stickles on her hair bows and shoes. Then the lines on her dress were blinged up using my silver Spica pen...which gave a subtle sparkle.

Flowers of course come from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts! Arrangement consists of a 35mm Trellis Rose, 25mm Roses, 15mm Roses, 10mm Roses, 5mm Closed Rosebuds, Sweetheart Blossoms, Gypsophilas, Rose Petal Leaves, Heart Pin, and a large Iridescent Butterfly. I then coats a few of the flowers with Diamond Stickles for some sparkle and shimmer. The MS border has been accented with self adhesive pearls.

Here you can hopefully see the sparkle on the flowers and image.

And here's another angle photo so you can see all the depth and dimension of the card. I took some foam tape and layered it up underneath the butterfly wings so that they are popping off the page so they appear to be landing on the card. Hope you have enjoyed my Beary Special card! This card is going to a very special friend who is dealing with the worst type of pain, losing a child! Sending all my love to Kevin & Cindy!
