I am sure you all have been wondering where the heck I have been! This past month has been very hectic at our house! Working full-time is amazing...I absolutely love my job....however in all of my free time I am studying my butt off to get my CPA licensure! I take my first (of four) exam next Thursday....Eeeekkkkk! I'm getting pretty nervous! A couple weeks ago, my hubby and I went on a much needed vacation....we went to Myrtle Beach for a week.....had a fabulous time! However, upon coming home we got some not so good news in our family, we found out that my Gramps was diagnosed with cancer. The good thing is the doctors feel it is localized and after numerous tests have found that the cancer is not in his organs or bones...that was some good news. He just started his chemo treatments this week. If you could keep him in your prayers that would be greatly appreciated! :)
When I found out about my Gramps my crafting mojo disappeared. So that's the reason why I've been missing from blogland. I'm slowly starting to come out of my "funk" and am starting to color again....which feels good....I forget how much of a stress relief coloring is for me....my Copics are GREAT therapy and my happy place....lol! Now onto some fun.....
Today I have some fabulous images to share with you! Susana has released some amazing new stamps today at SCACD just because she wants to bring you even more fun!!!! There are 2 gorgeous perfume bottles designed by Victoria Case and 2 new flower children designed by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD! Meet one flower of the flower children.....Daisy Doll:
I absolutely adore Daisy Doll...she so reminds me of the Anne Geddes pictures! I used this cutie pie for a baby card for our friend's who had a little girl 3 weeks ago! Papers are from the Echo Park Springtime collection. MS border punch edge has been accented using Self Adhesive Pink Rhinestones.
Daisy Doll has been colored with Copics and accented with my black pastel pencil. Image has been cut out with a circle nestie and popped up on a SB Doily Motiff. I then took my Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner and outlined the image. The doily has been accented with my Viva Decor Rose Paper Pen, and Viva Decor Yellow Pearl Pen. The Rose Paper Pen was also used to accent the butterflies along with Star Dust Stickles.
Flowers are from the fabulous WOC and arrangements consist of 35mm Trellis Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms, Hip Roses, and 8mm Semi-Opened Rosebuds.
I used my Illuminate Smooch to sparkle up the flower petals on Daisy Doll. I love the soft shimmer that the Smooch adds.
And one more angle shot so you can see all the beautiful dimension!
Card #2 that I am sharing today features the brand new Flora Perfume Bottle by Victoria Case for SCACD!
Isn't this stamp dynamite?!! I went for a shabby chic girlie-ness for this card! I adore these perfume bottles soooo much! They would make adorable wall hangings for that stylish girl that you know....AKA that would be my sister! I am hoping to surprise her with two wall hanging with these new stamps! You can find them both at SCACD -->HERE<--! Paper are from the Echo Park Be Mine collection! Bottom right corner has been accented with a filigree metal corner and the striped paper has been decorated with a gorgeous grey silk ribbon from WOC.
My perfume bottle has been colored with Copics and accented with my black pastel pencil....I am loving the depth that I can get by adding just this little bit of pencil shading! Image has been cut out with a Labels one nestie and while the image was still in the nestie I lightly airbrushed the edges with my Copic RV11 to add a very subtle and soft edge. The spray top of the bottle (pink part) and hearts were accented with Star Dust Stickles. For the black part of the spray top and the tassel I used my Crystal DecoArt Glamour Dust Paint to add a beautiful sparkle to the image...I LOVE this paint because it dries clear leaving behind all the stunning sparkle! This definitely is a MUST HAVE product!
Flowers are from the fabulous WOC! The main flower in my image is using the BRAND NEW Organza Rose Trim. I cut one of the flowers off to use as a flower! LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!!! The rest of the arrangement consists of 35mm Trellis Roses, 20mm Roses, NEW Tulips, Gypsophilas, 4mm Closed Rosebuds, and 8mm Semi-Opened Rosebuds. Then I used some rhinestone swirls to accent the arrangement.
Finally one more angle view so you can get a look at the depth of this card! I hope you have enjoyed my showcases of these new images! RUN to SCACD to order yours today! While you are there make sure you check out the paper pads....I hear Susana has an amazing sale going on with the paper this weekend!!!
For my European friends you can find these stamps at Quixotic Paperie -->HERE<--! Make sure you head over to the store blog to find the links for the other fabulous designers to see what they have created with these gorgeous new stamps! Don't forget to go and order yours today!

Beautiful creations Kim! Your cards are always so elegant and detailed.
Glad your vacation was a good one and I'm sure much needed. As for Gramps, I'm sure he's going to be fine once the treatments are completed. With God's help and prayers along with the treatments he just couldn't be anything else. Sending prayers to you and the family as you cope with this devastating news. "Hugs" Carol
