Bellas, Bellas, and Still More Bellas!

Yesterday I got LOTS of time to play in crafting corner! YAY! I was a VERY happy girl and VERY pleased with my creations! Of course you can guess that it was Bellas that I played with! Imagine that! Tee hee! I got out my prismas and OMS and started to color away! It was so much fun! So have fun taking a looksie at my newest Bella Creations!

First up is Ms. Rockabella! For the border I used a scrap cut from my Cricut! For the background I used DCWV metallic paper with my traffic maze cuttlebug folder! I inked the image and smaller black border in silver! And of course I used stickles on bella's shirt and guitar....I was going for the sparkle black guitar like Taylor Swift has! Yes, I like country music!

Next up is Bubblebella! Again the DP is DCWV from the spring stack! And I used stickles in the bubbles!
And my final Bella for the day was Mwahbella! I love this bella...she is definitely going to be in my next bella purchase! I had a lot of fun with this card! DP is Creative Memories.
If you LOOK VERY CLOSE at my Mwahbella you will see I even made her a designer girl! She has a COACH purse!
And my final card of the day was an Anniversary card for my Grandparents! I used my cuttlebug swirls embossing folder and added some sparkle with stickles, and some shimmery ribbon! Don't forget to add some prima flowers for an add bonus!
And I want to send a SPECIAL THANK YOU out to my friend Trudi from the WI Scrappers MB! She was a fabulous hostess for our virtual card crop this past month, and while she was being hostess she also had a challenge on her blog and I won! Trudi sent me the MOST WONDERFUL gift too! I was SOOOOOO excited to get the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder! I have been wanting it forever, and it was sold out everywhere! Thanks again are the BEST....and a huge inspiration to me!

Here is my fabulous gifts from Trudi:
Hope you are having a BELLARIFIC day!

And The Surprises Are.... seeing how the Bridal Shower was yesterday, I can FINALLY share my creation with all of you....which by the way my Cousin LOVED! I made her an exploding album box and of course a Bella card! Here is the exploding box from the outside: Then on the inside I put their engagement pictures, and little saying on the front and back of all the flaps, so that they can add their wedding pictures later on:
And then of course had to make the Bridalpartybella cousin's bridesmaid dresses are green so that is why I all the green on my card:
Then I have made a sympathy card that I quickly threw together yesterday. My hubby (is a funeral director) had a service yesterday for a family in town that he knows pretty well so he asked me to make a card for them. I was VERY surprised that hubby asked me to make a card....I think he secretly likes my crafts! I think the card turned out beautiful! I used the swirls cuttlebug embossing folders with some stickles on a few of the swirls!

Hope you are all having a WONDERFUL weekend!

Craft Time & Laundry...What a combo!!!!

Hello! I FINALLY got to play in my craft corner today for a little while, in between doing laundry that is! YAY...I will take any craft time I can get! I made a special surprise for my's her bridal shower on Saturday, so I wanted to make her a heartmade gift! I will post pictures this weekend so you can see my creation....until then I will hold you in suspense (in case someone from the family checks my blog and we don't want anyone to spill the beans)! :)

I also started my mom's mother's day gift...only got half way done with that (and of course I can't talk about that either) because I just showed my mom my blog last night, so she might stop in and sneak a peek!

I did however make a card for my Dad the other day! He's has Meniere's Disease (which affects his inner ear) which is progressing so I just wanted to make a card letting him know how important he is to us, I even made a poem out of his name! I gave it to him the other night when my parents came to visit, but told Dad to open it when he got home (I cried all day writing it, so I know I would have cried tons watching him open it.) Well my mom said he opened it when he got home, and it is the most touched my mom has ever seen my dad in her life! That made me feel really good...when I talked to Dad yesterday he even said Thank You for the card and that he really really liked it! YAY! So here's the card! Used my Cricut Alphalicious cart for "Dad", the DP is a Provo Craft Slab pack:
The inside poem was:
D ear Dad, We will be forever grateful to have a dad like you,
E ven in the hard times, you always saw us through,
N ow it’s our turn to be the brave children you have taught us to be, to help you while
N ever forgetting that God only bring us to those events that he can bring us through,
I ndeed we are at a hard time in our lives (wishing you weren’t suffering with your disease)
but because we are a family and
S urrounding one another, our faith and love together will help us get through this!

Dad even though you are at a hard time in your life
we are all here to be with you and help you get through this!
We love you more than words can say!
We are so blessed to have you as our Dad!

I thought the card turned out VERY good! It took me all Tuesday to get the peom written!

Again...don't forget to stop back and see my latest project!

Another Bella

Well today was a gorgeous day out, but I did manage to get another Bella card made! This one is with Flowahbella....and it was the VERY first time I used OMS with my prismas to color! I got a little crazy and went out of the lines....because I was using a q-tip, but I didn't think I did too awful for my 1st time! I also used my new hero arts stamps and of course LOVEY stickles!!!! I tried to cover up my "out of the lines" coloring with stickles around her dress! I love the colors in this card!

Some Bellas

Here are a few on my recently created Bella cards! The Bridalpartybellas was a shower card for our friend' hubby is standing up in their wedding in June! The Causabella card is for a friend off of the Cricut MB who has a friend (Shawna) with ovarian cancer, and wasn't given a good prognosis, so my Cricut MB sistah put together a awesome idea! We all donated created blank scrapbook pages for Shawna and her family, so all Shawna had to do was add her photos to the pages! It felt so good being able to help out someone in need!

Welcome to my crafty play area! Blogging is brand new to bear with me as I learn to figure this out! I can't wait to start posting all of my creations to my blog! Check back frequently as I am going to try and update weekly if not daily! Again, welcome to my insanity for crafting!
