WOJ #92 - Tara's Sketch

Happy Wednesday....well we are half way through the week and that means the weekend is getting closer!  Woo-Hoo!  I am excited for this weekend....as my "adopted brother" (who is my brother's best freind) recently bought a house so we are going to celebrate at his housewarming party!  And then I am planning on crafting the rest of the weekend away getting ready for another craft show that I will have a booth in the Saturday after Thanksgiving!  Which reminds me I still have to share pictures of my booth with you all! :)

Today is another WOJ Challenge Wednesday!  Yay this week we have a WONDERFUL sketch by my amazing freind Tara for you to play along with!  Love the sketch T, it's so much fun to work with!!!  We do have some sad news to share with you from the WOJ Challenge DT....This week is my good buddy Tara's last challenge with us as she has decided to step down from DT.  I'm going to miss you SOOOO MUCH Tara...and wish you all the best hun!  With Tara's decision to step down from the DT we have decided to hold a DT Call this challenge.....Please check the WOJ Challenge page for all the details.
For my card this week I've decided to use a cutie from last years Winter Stamp Set.  Isn't she a doll?!  I absolutely love her and her innocence!  Papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather collection, I love how this pad has bold colors as well as subtle soft colors too!  Lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts and is the Guipure Lace....absolutely LOVE this one, again it adds to the elegance of the card.  I've taken my narrow purple MS ribbon and wove it into the lace, and then used my Bow Easy to create the bow! :)  For the background edging I've used my new MS ATP holly punch!  Love this punch!
My image was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  I've used my SB Labels 14 to cut her out and then edged the label with Star Dust Stickles.
Flower arrangement consists mainly of WOC flowers.  Hydrangeas are Prima....BUT Wild Orchid Crafts is now carrying Hydrangea flowers in an assortment of colors...you can find there -->here<--!  YAY!!!  Finishing off the arrangement is 15mm roses, Padded Snowflakes, and 15mm Rose Leaves.
Now make sure you head to the WOJ Challenge to see Tara's amazing sketch and to play along with us!

NOW it's time for me to share my samples using two of the BRAND NEW stamps!
First, meet Flower Cheer!  Isn't she beautiful?!  I so love the pointsettia she is carrying!  Papers are from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses Collection.
Miss Flower Cheer was Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  Her belt and bow in her hair were sparklized using my TonerTex Pen and Glitters!  I absolutely love using this tool for adding glitter to my projects...it really keeps the glitter mess less because you hardly use any glitter!  Love it!  The circle buttons in the bottom corner were made with the Epiphany Crafts shape tool, yes this is the one that you have the chance to win over at SCACD!  It is my ultimate favorite because you can customize your baubles to match your card!
Flowers are from WOC and arrangement 1 consists of 35mm large wild rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, and Lt. Plum Gypsophila.  Guipure lace used is also from WOC.
Flower arrangement 2 consists of the same flowers and also a pink heart pearl pin.
Card #2 features First Snowball of Winter!  Isn't she a dream?  Papers are from Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather Collection...love the soft colors in this pad!  Pearls in the upper right hand corner were made using my Viva Decor Silver Pearl Pen...gotta love being able to customize your pearls to get that exact size that you need!
Miss. Snowball was Copics and accented with a white gel pen. She was cut out with a nestie and then the edge was blinged up using my Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Hologram!
Again flowers are from WOC and arrangement consists of 35mm large wild rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, 4mm closed rosebuds, stamens, and pearl stars.

NEW Flowers at Wild Orchid!

Are you ready for some flowery fun this Sunday morning?!  Paul and Siri have done it again....Wild Orchid Crafts is now stocking small flat gardenias, and they are available TODAY!  I love the big ones but think these smaller ones will be even more perfect for making cards!  They measure just over an inch in diameter so they'll work really well with the other WOC flowers.
 gardenias6
These small gardenias come in white, ivory, pink, champagne pink, and chocolate!  Hop on over to Bev and Jacqui's blogs to see the samples they have made using these brand new beauties!!!
