TIOT - Frame It

Hi Everyone~

It's Tuesday....so let's TRY IT OUT!  This week Suzanne has challenged us to FRAME IT....the twist is that you can use anything BUT paper!  As soon as I saw this was our challenge I knew I wanted to try the ribbon/knot frame....and I am pleased at how this turned out but most importantly at how easy this is!  I found a tutorial/tips -->here<--.
This week I have used the Victoria Case Little Carolyn for SCACD!  I wanted to create a scene to make it look like Little Carolyn was swinging on her swing that was tied to a tree branch.  Papers are from the BG Green at Heart Collection....Oooo I just love the colors in this collection!!!!
Here you can see Little Carolyn on her swing.  She has been colored with Copics.  I've used Diamond Glaze on her eyes to make them shine and look real.  The background has been airbrushed with my ABS and Copic B0000 to give it a "sky look."  In this view you can also see the ribbon frame around this cutie pie!
The white pearls are made with my Glossy Opaque White Viva Decor Pen!  These pens seriously are the most amazing product!  I am in love with being able to make my own pearls any size, AND any color that I want them!!!  These glossy pens are VERY cool with the gorgeous shine they give!  Marti has made an amazing video regarding these awesome gloss pens, you can find it -->here<--.
Then there is the flower arrangement that has been sparkled with Star Dust Stickles. (I can't wait to get my Viva Decor Hologram Glitter Liner pen because I think this glitter will look amazing on flowers and everything else...my pen is postal-bound as you read this.....Susana recently got these BACK IN STOCK...so HURRY and order yours today!)  I've also added some pearl sprays into the arrangement.  From this view you can also see the texture to Little Carolyn's hair.  I've added the texture with my Copics but I have also used my Sand Spica to add a little more texture and sparkle!
And in my final view you can see more teeny-tiny pearls that have been added to the tiny butterflies using my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  From this view I am also hoping that you can see the metallic shimmer on Little Carolyn's dress.  I have colored the flowers on her dress with Snickerdoodle Smooch, which was enough to give her some extra accent.

I hope you've enjoy this fun card!  Make sure you bop on over to the SCACD Blog to see the amazing creations that the other wonderful DT Girls have made!
