A Fun Weekend is Planned!

Sorry....but no creations for today! It was a pretty busy day for me! I left for school a few hours early and stopped at JoAnn's first! I found a few good deals....got 2 new woven baskets that happened to have the cloth liners in them...and guess what....the cloth liners are pink with brown swirls.....is that so me or what!!!! So I just HAD to get them, and the best part is they were 50% off! Woo-Hoo! Got a bunch of new ribbon to....YES it's sad to admit but I am a total ribbon-aholic! However, I am going to share some of it! Maybe even you could get some of the ribbon I just got today in the blog candy that I am giving away with my sketch challenge! You still have time to enter!!!!

Then I headed off to school where I only had 1 hour of class...which shouldn't have been bad, but we watched a video on Asian burial and art culture ...which wasn't the most thrilling video so I had to try hard to stay awake (which I did...but not by much)!

This weekend is going to be so much fun! Tomorrow I have a stamp camp to go to in the morning, so I will have some fun projects to share with you tomorrow night! Then tomorrow afternoon I am hostessing a Lia Sophia jewelry party! Gots to love bling! Their jewelry is good quaility and has a life guarantee so who can complain about that! And then on Sunday I am planning on crafting all day (in between doing a little bit of homework)! I have to get my butt in gear to make projects to sell at the craft show that I have a booth in the beginning of November!

Courtney and her children have been staying at her in-laws located inland and have been seperated from her husband since the storm! Courtney you are in my thoughts and prayers daily!

I need to send out lots of blog hugs! I have so many friends that I have met on this blog and I truly cherish each and every one of you! I have many thank yous to give out too! This week has been a VERY happy mail week in my house! I am so excited with all of the fun things I have gotten! So with no further ado.....

Here is a card that I got from Jacquie! She is the greatest! You so have to stop by her blog and see her work...she also has a GREAT friend networking site that she just started! It's so much fun! I love this card that she made...it so reminds me of myself...I LOVE to shop!!!! Thanks Jacquie!
Next is from my mentor Suzanne! She is so wonderful! She has helped teach me to color with my copics! She has tutorials on her blog to learn from....she's a GREAT teacher, and I am so inspired by her work....her work is so amazing....I am in awe everyday seeing her projects! Thanks for the WONDERFUL Whiff of Joy images Suzanne. I can't wait until my 1st order of stamps shows up! Congrats again Suzanne and thank you so very much!
Next is my first card from my new Sistah Tiffaney from the Bellaholics Yahoo Group! This Sistah Round runs from September through November! I am having so much fun getting to know Tiffaney...we talk almost everyday! I love it....she definitely is like a sister to me! Thanks for all of the wonderful images Tiff...I can't wait to color now that I am finally kinda getting the hint of how to shade with my Copics!

Next is my final package that I got from my last round Bella Sistah Chris! I am going to miss Chris as my sistah...but I know we will keep in contact! She spoiled me rotten this last round! Look at all the goodies she just sent me! She felt bad b/c she didn't get my package out b/c she twisted her ankle! I told her to make sure she took care of herself first...I have awful ankles myself so I totally understand! Thanks again Chris! You Rock!
This package I got from my Cricut Sister Stephanie! She totally spoiled me this time! There is so much fun stuff to play with! Inside the metal tin it's all full of brads and eyelets! Thanks Steph this all looks so fun!
This is the package I just received today from Lynn! Lynn had blog candy going on her blog...but you had to nominate a friend to win! My bella sistah Tiffaney nominated me (by a huge surprise) and Tiffaney won....so I got this wonderful package! Tiff you are so sweet! I can't wait to make you a surprise with all these fun fall goodies! Thanks again for the generous nomination and Lynn for putting this awesome idea together!
And my final package is from Ria! I won her blog candy and this package came all the way from The Netherlands! All of the ribbon and paper and images are so much fun b/c we don't have those vendors here in the US! Thanks again Ria for giving me the option to play in your blog candy! You spoiled me crazy! I can't wait to play with all of your contents of the package!

Stamp Club Projects!

At my Stampin' Up party a month ago....my friends and I decided to start a stamp club with our Stampin' Up Demo Kersten! She is the GREATEST and such a fun girl! We have a blast with her! Last night was our first official stamp club! There were four of us there but we had so much fun! We made 3 cards...and had to make sets for those girls who couldn't attend last night! We giggled and laughed all night long! We will be meeting every month until June so I am really excited to have my "night out" with the girls! I would MUCH rather be crafting instead of sitting in a bar! Hope you all like our creations!

The first one looked a little difficult with all of the different colors but once we got making them it was easy as pie! I see in my picture that my image didn't stamp the greatest...but at least I got the technique down to try at home now! :) Second was an easier one!
And this 3rd one was my favorite! I got to watercolor for the VERY FIRST time in my life (well at least since I was over 5 yrs. old)! I loved water coloring! Oh boy...I see having to invest in some watercolor tools now!
Sorry the pictures are so dark! It was a rainy day here today so there was no good sunlight to take my pics! Boo! :( I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow too....but we do need it....it's super dry here!
