2 Excitements In 1 Day!

Today was an AWESOME day! First I got to spend the morning with my friend Liz helping her put together a display board for her presentation she had to give in class this afternoon! We had so much fun playing with my Cricut and getting her board to be just perfect!

Also this morning I got an AWESOME package in the mail from Loreen at Wish On A Scrap...it was my Copics that I ordered! WOO-HOO! So this afternoon I ripped them open and started to color! I, of course, do not think I am good with them....but practice does make perfect.....so that means I will be coloring a lot!!! Here's a picture of my new babies....aren't they beautiful?:

Then I logged onto the Rockbottom Scrapbook Supplies yahoo group (which Loreen from Wish On a Scrap runs) and found out that I am the winner of the monthly contest kit! YAY! I am soooo excited! Each month Loreen hand picks a bunch of items and puts them into a kit for $25! You can see the kits here! She offers add ons (such as embellishments, papers, alters, inks, and stamps) which can be purchased also. This monthly kit is loaded with so many supplies it makes my head spin! You definitely get a GREAT deal with buying the kit....and the selection Loreen gets for us is HUGE! I love everything about it! Then after you get your monthly kit you just start creating and post your creations in the group.....and at the end of the month Loreen picks a winner to receive the next month's kit FREE! That means I AM GETTING AUGUST'S KIT FOR FREE!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!! Thanks again Loreen for making the group so much fun....you are the best!

Here are my creations that I submitted with July's kit contents:

First I made this card oraganizer/holder....let's just say when you need hemp twine and you don't have any.....you can improvise with ANYTHING laying around! I got some of my hubby's string from his work!

Then my second entry was a coaster flip out album!

I have a few blog candy alerts for you too....stop over by Kathy and Vicki to say hi for your chance to win their PIF candy!

My day was terrific...I hope everyone else enjoyed their day as much as I did!

WI Scrappers Un-Circle Journal Swap Continued...

OK I finished my layouts just in the knick of time! Woo-Hoo....I was so worried I was going to be late with these.....but I think I work BETTER under pressure! I had so much fun with this swap...although next time I would start sooner...I am trying to break the procrastination habit! hee hee!

Here are the pages that I made for Amy. Her album was Causes For a Cure. I didn't have a specific topic so I did a spin off of the "Relay For Life" and decorated the pages in purple.
Same page as above just showing the hidden journaling tag:

Layout number 2 for Amy.....I thought Causeabella fit PERFECT in this layout and I gave her a sparkly ribbon with my stickles!

Same layout as above showing the hidden journaling tag:

The next layouts are the ones that I made for Dannelle. Dannelle's album was about her daughter's 2nd birthday party! Dannelle wanted bright (primary) colors used...so this one was a lot of fun! I had the topic of family.

Same as above showing the hidden journaling tag:
Layout number 2:

I hope you all enjoyed these layouts! I had so much fun making them! It seems more fun to create layouts for others than making my own scrapbook pages! :)

My Un-Circle Journal Swap at WI Scrappers!

I signed up for a un-circle journal swap at the WI Scrappers board back in May/June! There are ten of us total who signed up and each person got to pick the size of their album, their criteria for pages, and topic! My topic was our friend's wedding (the ones who just got married in June)! Well go figure....miss procrastinator kept putting off her layouts and now they are due Aug. 1st to the swap leader! I started my pages Saturday....and as of right now I only have 4 layouts left to do! Woo-Hoo! AND I even LOVE how all of the layouts turned out! I hope the recipients all love their pages as much as I do! Without further a-do.....Here are the layouts I made:

First off is the layouts for Kathy R....her album is about her Dad....and I choose the topic of guiter b/c Kathy's Dad plays bass guitar! I had the perfect paper for this!
** I don't know why some pics are sideways....they weren't like that when I uploaded them...Weird blogger***

And here is the layout with the hidden journaling tab pulled out:

Next is Kathy A's layouts! Her album is "All About Me" and I had the topic of girly pages! Can you tell I love to use pink and brown! I thought these turned out GREAT! The layout says Sweet on one side and Sassy on the other.

Layout #2 for Kathy A:
And then with the hidden journaling tab pulled out:

These are for Diana. Her album is a tribute album to her Dad who passed away.

Layout #2 for Diana:

These layouts are for Sue. Sue is creating an album of her son throughout his education....from kindergarten through high school.....then someday when her son gets married Sue is going to give the album to her future-daughter-in-law. Isn't that an AWESOME idea? I love it! I had the topic of 9th Grade.
Here are the layouts with the hidden journaling tabs pulled out:

These Carribean Pages are for Connie....her album is on her Cruise! I got to use my micro beads on this layout and had sooooo much fun!

Layout #2 for Connie:
And here is layout #2 again with the hidden journaling tab pulled out:
And finally are the layouts I made for Kathy H......her album is about her camping trip and I had the topic of swimming! Seeing how much I loved the above layout for Connie....I had to use the same one for Kathy....again got to play with my micro beads! :)

Layout #2 for Kathy H

Dannelle and Amy's layouts will be created tomorrow! Thanks for looking at my latest creations!

Hi ladies...before I leave for vacation I thought I would share with you the creations that I made when I applied to be on the 3 Little DReaMs Design Team, unfortunately I was not picked for this round, but I will try again for the next round. I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to all the girls who were picked! I can't wait to see what they make.

Desk Sets For Sale!

I found some new projects to make and sell! This set includes a pocket/purse calendar, an address book, and beaded pens. If you are interested in purchasing a set, please e-mail me at kgruetzmacher@granitewave.com.

This set shown below is a set that I made for my sister. She moves into her apartment today, so this afternoon I will be helping her move! I am sad to see her leave home, but she will only be 1 1/2 hours away....which is better than the 4 hours away she was thinking of moving to. My sister loves the vintage look, especially in black and white, so when I found the paper that I put on the Address Book I knew I had to use it for her! The pocket/purse calendar paper is a Kim's Creations paper....I handmade it using my hero art stamps and stickles! I LOVE how it turned out!!! I can't wait until my sister sees the set now!

Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Friday and a GREAT weekend! Hubby and I leave on Sunday on our vacation for a week....so there won't be any new projects for a week! I will be working on my tan at the waterparks! In case I don't get a chance to post before I leave....have a great week and talk to you all when I return (hopefully not with a sunburn!)

A new week with some new cards!

Hope everyone is having a GREAT week! I have a couple cards to share with you that I got done this weekend! This weekend was so jam packed with events I didn't get much time to post or play in the craft corner! Tomorrow is laundry day....ick....but maybe I will get a little bit of time to play! This weekend we are moving my sister into her new apartment so that will occupy my time and Sunday hubby and I leave for vacation for a week! Woo-Hoo! I am so excited to get away with my hubby!

First card is a birthday card with Teeoffabella that I got in an image swap. The second card is also an image that I got in a swap....not sure what collection this one is from....but owl's are the big hit in stamping....so I am glad I got some in a swap to play with as I don't have an owl stamp (yet)!
Hope you enjoyed these two!
