Blog Candy for a Cause

** This will remain on the top of my blog until Nov. 25th, please scroll down for new posts**

I'm sure many of you know Sarah (AKA Scrampin' Mama or Sairabee on SCS)! She's going through a VERY difficult time right now, as her 3 year old son, Henry just passed away after a brief viral illness. I am asking you all to keep Sarah and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Here's a picture of Henry the little cutie pie:
I am so heart broken for the Anderson family. I would LOVE to shower Sarah and her family with cards to show our love and support, so I am going to offer up some candy to all who participate in my challenge.

My Candy Includes:
* 12 x 12 Glazed Christmas Bazzill Paper Pack
* Assorted Flowers
* Hat Pins
* Assorted Mixed of Charms
* Pack of Making Memories Shimmer Flourish Chipboard Pieces

What you need to do:
1. Create a card for Sarah and her family
2. Post your card on your blog with a message about my challenge/candy
3. Come back to this post and leave me a link to your creation
4. Mail your card to me before November 25th at:

Kim Gruetzmacher
PO Box 223
Suring, WI 54174

I will take care of sending all the cards to Sarah in one bundle! On November 26th I will draw a winner. Thanks for your help in showering our good friend with lots of love!

Edited to add and THANK all the FABULOUS people helping and donating prizes:

* Virginia from InStyle Stamps has graciously offered to add 10 yards of May Arts Ribbon to my candy! Thanks so much hun!

Kim,
I found out about your Blog Candy for a Cause somewhere in blogland and just had to send you a card for Sarah and her family...I cannot even imagine the heartache there! I have organized two other Blog Candy for a Cause events in the past and have been amazed by the generosity and love of the stamping community. I wish you the best of luck in gathering cards and pray that Sarah and her family find peace and comfort in all of the greetings to them. I have posted this on my blog at http://craftyengineering.blogspot.com/2009/11/sending-out-my-sympathies.html
God Bless you for your kindness!!

Kim you are soo thoughtful!!! I just can't imagine being Sarah right now. I am soo sad. Thinking of her and her family instead of ourselves is so very important right now. I am sure she will be gracious with your cause.
Love you lots

My heart is so sad for Sarah and family. My little boy is 10 months old and I can't imagine the pain and sorrow of losing a child.

I have made a card and posted it on my blog. I also put my card in the mail this afternoon. Thank you so much for hosting this...I am happy that we as a stamping community embrace each other during times of need.

Kim, bless you for doing this. I don't know Sarah, but had heard about her awful loss, and wanted to say something, but what? How can you hope to offer comfort to a grieving mother? But I think you may achieve it with this wonderful idea.

I have made a card, and posted it on my blog with details of your blog candy, but please don't enter me in the draw.

My blog post is HERE, and I will get my card in the post to you by airmail (from the UK) later today.

Hugs,
Chris xx
