Craft Fair Bound

Exams are done! YAY...hopefully my grades come back good, lol! Now let the fun begin! My Mom and I are headed to a local craft fair tomorrow to try and sell some of our crafty creations! I'm excited, I love seeing people smile over our work.

Last weekend was my hometown's craft show and we did pretty good with our booth. However I didn't have shelving to arrange my cards, they were all one level on a table and hard to see....after telling my hubby about my table problem, he came up with this brilliant idea:

I had these stands that hold small boxes, and asked hubby if there was anyway that I could make shelves for the stands. I was thinking cutting cardboard or something like that, but he had WAY BETTER ideas than my cardboard. Today he went to Home Depot and bought some Lexan....which to me is clear plastic....to hubby it's high grade plexi-glass. Tonight we cut the pieces that we needed....YEP, I even helped him! :) I'm very happy with how it turned out! (Sorry the picture quality is crappy....I took the picture quick with my phone.) I will take some *better* pictures of my booth tomorrow to share with you all!

On another note, I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who is coming forward and donating prizes to my special blog candy! You are all angels! It's so wonderful to know so many caring and generous people! Everyone in this crafting world is truly amazing and I am so glad to call you all friends! :)

Here are some more amazing people that are helping out the Anderson Family:

Lorie Ames is putting together a memorial for Henry to raise money to have trees planted at the Zoo that Henry loved to go to! Please click HERE to go and read more.

Melissa at Pink Cat Studio has created a special digi stamp and is donating the proceeds of the sale of the digi (minus paypal fees) towards the tree memorial as well. Click here to go and see the stamp! I bought mine last night and can't wait to create with this cutie!

Katie of Paper Makeup Stamps also has a cute Snow Angel stamp in honor of Henry! Click HERE to go and see this one! I have to go and purchase mine! Proceeds are also being donated to the Anderson's.
Thanks for stopping by!
