For my July pages I used the 4th of July theme and Happy Birthday America! So to celebrate I decided on Cuppacakeabella. I of course tweeked this bella a little bit by adding a custom drawn arm with a sparkler which I thought added a special touch. Then I paper pieced (for the VERY 1st time) the bottom of the cupcake, and of course added some diamond stickles for the frosting! I thought my paper piecing turned out very good...and I couldn't believe how easy it was....why the heck didn't I try this sooner! Ha ha! I can't wait to get my Glossy Accents from Wish On A Scrap b/c that would have looked so darling on the cherry on top! Of course I colored with my Copics.
Then my next project of the day was to work on my Inchies! My friend Kimmie from Crafting for Sanity is hosting an inchie swap on the Yahoo Group Rock Bottom Scrapbooking Supplies. I was VERY nervous about joining this swap b/c I had NO CLUE what you can put in a 1 inch by 1 inch square piece of paper! I wanted to make them pink and brown b/c we all know those are my FAVORITE colors. After cutting my pink squares and incorporating some pretty flourishes (b/c those are my favorite designs these days) I had to think of something to go in the middle of the square. I pulled out my Bellas and was going to use a Bella head when I found my cardbackabella and thought she would be PERFECT b/c of her small size! Then I topped them off with micro mini beads....which I still don't know if I am crazy about the beads being on them...but the tacky tape was already on the squares so there was no turning back!

Hi Kim,
I LOVE your calender pages. They are all awesome. Wish I joined this but I had no idea what was expected - maybe next year!
Love Candy
Very cute inchies! I forgot to take a picture of mine. :o( And I agree with you, very intimidating with only 1 inch to design on. Did you get my PIF package? I mailed it 2 Fridays ago to your PO Box? Hope so.
I don't know which is more amazing... your calendar or your inchies. Makes me wish I signed up for the calendar swap.
All of your calendar pages have been so creative! I'm with Kimmie, I wish I had signed up!
And your inchies... you GO girl!
Oooh, I love your calender page! I never would have thought to use Cupcakeabella. She looks FAB!
You have been a very busy girl. Love the sparkler you added-definitely gives your bella some zip. I just might have to try an inchie. I'm still intimidated by a full size card though LOL.
Ooh... I wish I had signed up for the calendar swap! I kicked myself last time I missed out on it, and here I am kicking myself again. Your pages are wonderful! Maybe next time!
Thanks for sharing!

Awesome work!! I've left you a little something over at my blog.
I think your inchies turned out great!!!! as usual all your work is awesome!
I clicked on the picture to get a closer look and it looks like you completely covered your inchies wtih the micro beads? Is that right? I think they look great!! So the TTT is clear enough to see your project? Can't wait to try it! I wish you had an extra inchie (I would so love one!!). If you could please e-mail me back with a yes or no on the inchie being totally covered with TTT then the micro beads I would greatly appreciate it! Have a lovely day
