Another Design for Wish On A Scrap

Today I created a card for my friend Crystal who just had a baby girl last week.....Baby Chloe! She is so adorable! I used items from my Wish On A Scrap August Kit. The Cuttlebug embossed edge adds that perfect feminine touch. Also this is my 1st post coloring with my Copic markers...I still can't seem to figure out the blending/shading very well. I hope to learn that soon! Any tips and pointers are GREATLY appreciated! I have been reading the I Like Markers blog faithfully trying to learn from Marianne.

And for the inside of the card I used my nesties (I love these) and did some paper piercing. I used my Gelly Powder glitter embossing powder over the top of my ink sentiment (which doesn't show up well in the photo...but it looks really cool in person)!
Second, is another card holder folder that I made yesterday when I was mass producing while I was doing laundry. I got the outside of this one finished....which will be going out to a very special friend of mine this week! Shhhh...she doesn't know it yet! I also started decorating another one but didn't finish it yet (hopefully I will finish it tomorrow after I get back from my shopping trip)...so stay tuned tomorrow for that one....hint (it has my FAVORITE color in it!)
Hope you enjoyed!

Wow! I've loved all the projects/cards you've shared recently! You've been such a busy girl! I've been stamping like crazy the last 2 nights, but so far haven't had the chance to color any images or add them to paper...
I think you did a great job coloring w/ your Copics - I can't wait to get my hands on some and try them out!

Hi Kim! Everything is superb as usual. I have a question about the baby card. What colour copic did you use for the shadow? Does the lovely soft pink design paper come with that line of glitter on it? or did you put it there?? What is a jelly roll powder pen?
Thanks - Hugs,
Candy

Kim, your work is great as usual. You inspire me a lot since I have zero talent. Love the cuttlebug border (now that I can handle LOL).

Hi,

I just started browsing ur blog when I joined the bellaholics group. For copic tips, Marianne's blog is a great place to start. Also Gina K has a gret tutorial, and I think so does Anna Wight, maybe even Julie and I can't remember her last name but I think she is on Gina K's blog! Sorry! I can't do links either because I am on a sidekick. I would recommend googling Gina K, then looking on her sidebar for Julie, then go find Anna Wight. There r so many great gals with Copics out there!

Good luck,
Angie

P.S. U did do a good job though!
