Basic Grey #18 & Sketch Saturday #34 Combined!

This week over at the Basic Grey Challenge blog there is a very special challenge. DT member Kim has provided her very own Valentine digi illustrations for us to play with. Her creations are fabulous!!! I absolutely love them! I know I will be making a few more cards with these fun characters! I decided to use this image and the sketch from Sketch Saturday together! I actually went a little bit outside my comfort zone with this one....but I had a lot of fun and can't wait to hear what you think!
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card! Instead of putting the main image on the front of the card in a circle, I decided to cut a circle out and look through to the inside where the image is (this is where I was a little out of my "comfort" zone)! However, I love the end result! I used the BG Bittersweet papers (I absolutely LOVE this paper pack and know I will have to get some more)! The little girl is colored with my Copics. I used my new Shimmerz Blingz in hottie pink (butterfly and heart on the valentine) and pink poinsettia (girl's shirt, cheeks, and eyelids). You can see the Shimmerz better in the last picture. The ribbon and heart strands are my new purchases from Hobby Lobby. Flowers are from my stash. Also used were my nesties and Fiskars heart border punch (I am loving this punch).
Of course we have the finished inside too! Heart doily and ribbon were in my stash.

Here is the close up tilted so you can see the Shimmerz! It looks fabulous IRL! The Shimmerz gives it a soft sparkly look without taking away from the Copic coloring!

I hope you all have a fabulous day! Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy if you haven't already! Thanks for stopping by and taking a looksie!

Hi Kim,

Oh my!! Do I ever love this image!! Were ever can we get it from?

You have done a fantastic job - she is just beautiful - her face looks real! I love that you put her on the inside of the card and then we get to see more when it is opened.

I really enjoyed seeing this card!
