NEW FLOWERS at Wild Orchid!!!

Hi Everyone~ Today I have a VERY special card using some NEW FLOWERS to share with you!  Wild Orchid Crafts has NEW HELLEBORE FLOWERS that will be available for purchase on MONDAY!  Make sure you mark your calendar so you can get yours....these are absolutely stunning!!!

The card I am sharing today is going to a VERY SPECIAL person, her name is Elise!  Elise is going through a very difficult time right now, as she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her story of course tugs at my heart so much, as my mother in law is a breast cancer survivor!  I've decided to create a card for Elise to let her know she is not alone in this fight, and that I am sending many prayers for her speedy remission! :)  Hugs to you hun!!!!  Cheryl has a Card Drive for Elise going on right now...please click -->here<-- to find out all the details!

For my card I've use the Angel of Hope stamp from the Mini Sampler Edition #1 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACDSusana (owner of SCACD) is donating $1 to Breast Cancer Research for every Angel of Hope stamp that is purchased!  This isn't just for October either, this is EVERY time the Angel of Hope Stamp is purchased (in the set or as a single stamp)!  I love this stamp....she is so gorgeous and can be used for many occasions, such as for mine today, or for Christmas, or a thinking of you, or you are in my prayers type of card.  I used some Making Memory Breast Cancer Collection papers.

My Angel of Hope was colored with Copics and accented with a Sakura star dust pen.  The frame my angel was popped up on is made with my Slice....I recently got a Slice and am soooo in love with it!  The pearls on my frame were made with my Viva Decor Light Carmine Paper Pen.
Now here is what you have been waiting for.....THE FLOWERS....the large one is the NEW Hellebore,(again they will be available MONDAY at WOC) then I've added Cherry Blossoms, 15mm Roses, and 5mm Closed Rosebuds to finish off my flower arrangement.  Star Dust Stickles was used to gliterize all the flowers.
I've used three different strands of ribbon to create my awareness ribbon and finished off with the gemstone ribbon!
From this view you can see that I have cut the angel's wings apart and popped the one wing up higher than the other for dimension!  I love the 3D look of it!
NOW....Make sure you head over to the WOC Blog for your chance to win this fantastic candy including some of the NEW HELLEBORE FLOWERS from the fabulous Paul and Siri!!!

Rose Petal Love

Hi Friends~ Today I have a fun project to share with you!  When I first saw the Rose Petal stamp in the New Mini Sampler Edition #1 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD I immediately thought of Anne Geddes!  I have admired Anne's photography forever.  If you are unaware of Anne Geddes she takes fabulous childrens photographs!  Some day when I have children I am hoping to have some fun baby pictures influenced by Miss. Geddes and now by Elisabeth Bell with her brilliant beauty!
I found this gorgeous shadow box/photo frame on one of my shopping excursions.  It actually was a compose your own monogram frame...however, when I saw it I knew I could add some beautiful flowers, and a gorgeous image to make this a beautiful wall hanging.
Rose Petal was colored with CopicsStar Dust stickles was used to accent the rose on top of her head.  I wanted to use my Champagne Pink Wild Orchid Roses, so that is what inspired me to color the roses on my image the pink and yellow that they are.  The background that Rose Petal was popped up on has been created with Viva Decor Pearl Champagne Modeling Cream and my Dreamweaver Flower Lace Stencil.  I love how using the Modeling cream and stencil adds such an elegant look to this amazing image!
Flowers of course are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts and the arrangements consist of 25mm Wild Roses, Cherry Blossoms, 6mm closed rosebuds, and 15mm Roses.  Again all flowers came in the Champagne Pink color (one of my ultimate favorite colors from WOC!)
For this angle I am hoping you can see all of the sparkle as well as the beauty from the Viva Modeling Cream!  Thanks for stopping in to see my creation!

This wall hanging will be for sale in my Shophandmade Store shortly, if you are interested in purchasing it.  For those of you unfamiliar with Shophandmade....It is VERY similar to ETSY except it has LOWER selling costs associated with listing your items for sale!

Hi Everyone~

Yes, it's Friday and I am finally posting my TIOT!  Sorry it's a day late...it's been a crazy school week!  Had an exam on Tuesday so I didn't get any crafty time this week.  This week over at the SCACD Blog Suzanne has challenged us to use a super fun sketch!
Today I have used the super fun Little Sprite from the New Mini Little Acorns Collection by Victoria Case for SCACD.  Papers are from the Basic Grey Euphoria Collection.
Little Sprite was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  I've used the two different color technique that I also made on -->this little acorn card<--.  She's been popped up on top of a SB Labels 14 which was then popped up on top of a SB Labels 4.  The glitter around the edge of the Labels 14 has been created with my TonerTex pen and glitters, I've used the teal colored glitter.  I've also used the TonerTex Foils on the middle of the flowers of Sprite's dress.
These gorgeous Epoxy Baubles were made using the Ephiphany Crafts Solid Round 14 Maker and Round 14 Bubble Caps. If you haven't read my post on the Ephiphany Crafts, click -->HERE<-- to go and see more info regarding them!  They truly are amazing products!
Flowers of course are from the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts!  For my arrangment I have used a Gardenia, 20mm Roses, 15mm Roses, 10mm Roses, and 4mm Closed Rosebuds.

SHOPPING NEWS~ SCACD has gotten some AMAZING NEW paper pads in!  Check out the Brand New Kaisercraft After 5 , English Rose. and Seaside!  Then there are also Brand New Webster Pages Santa/Sweet Season and Wonder Fall/Hollywood Vogue! All of these are amazing...I just ordered mine today...and can't wait to get them!  While you are at the store make sure you check out the Viva Decor products, Susana recently reduced the price of the AMAZING Pearl Pens!  Happy Shopping!

WOJ #90 - Distressing

Happy Whiff of Joy Challenge Wednesday!  This week we have a fun challenge for you....it's all about DISTRESSING!  So start ripping your paper, inking it up and getting dirty, I can't wait to see what you all make!
For my card I've used my Fall Willow Holding Baby Turkey stamp, which is from the Fall 2009 collection.  Papers are from the K&Company Classic K Bailey Collection and have been distressed with my Distress-It-All machine which makes distressing super easy and super fast!  Then I added Antique Linen Crackle paint to the paper edges for an vintage look.
Willow was colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen and Sakura star dust pen.  The turkey has been glittered with my TonerTex pen and glitters, I've used a mixture of the red and orange glitters.  The fall edge was stamped with a Hero Arts stamp and then I used my Viva Decor Bronze Glitter Liner to glitz up the leaves.  I've also used my Viva Decor Cream Pearl Pen (Susana of SCACD has recently reduced the prices of ALL the Viva Decor Pearl Pens so make sure you go and get a few!!!)  to accent the SB Lacey Square.  The green tag has also been glammed up with my TonerTex pen and Bronze Foil.
Flowers are from the wonderful Wild Orchid Crafts.  Arrangement consists of 35mm Wild Rose, Cherry Blossoms, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, 8mm semi-open roses, and a pearl hat pin.
From this view I am hoping you can see all the shimmer and sparkle to my card!  From the shine from the TonerTex Foil on the tag, to the Glitter Liner on the leaves, and sparkle on Willow's pants from the star dust pen.  All flowers have been spritzed with Maya Mist in Iridescent Pearl.

Make sure you head over to the WOJ Challenge Blog to see what the other girls have created!

TIOT #87 - Fall Fun

Happy Thursday Everyone!  Hope your week is going by fantastically!  Things are going good here!  I have a 2nd interview on Friday with one of the Accounting Firms that I interviewed with last week!  I am SOOOO excited as I'd love to work at this firm!  I'm praying the 2nd interview goes excellent!

It's TIOT Today....yay....Suzanne has challenged us to create a Fall Themed Gift.  If you remember our Spotlight for Make a Mess Monday for this month was Viva Decor Precious Metals....and I just couldn't stay away from mine!  So I have another Precious Metals project to share with you!
This was a cute little wooden pumpkin box that I found last year on one of my shopping excursions.  I grabbed my Olive Precious Metals along with my Cinnamon Precious Metals and set out to beautify my wooden box!  Look at how beautiful those Viva metals are!  Seriously it only took me ONE COAT to cover this!  I LOVE how it only takes one coat to cover things with this amazing paint...makes making those gifts SUPER FAST and EASY and GORGEOUS!
Here is another angle so you can see the dimension on the box.  I love how these two colors have a second glitter color in them!  Both the Olive and Cinnamon have a gold tone within them!
Here you can see the top view...this would be perfect to house some sweet treats or a small little gift for a friend, teacher, or loved one!
Finally is a picture of the colors reflecting in the direct sunlight!  Don't you just LOVE the gold glittery effect within both of the colors!  If you haven't purchased any of these Precious Metal paints...what are you waiting for!  These are perfect for creating those beautiful and unquie one of a kind gifts!  Click -->here<-- to go and check out the selection of colors that Susana carries!

I am so excited as I was asked to join the amazing Quixotic Paperie DT for an extra special blog hop for you today. We have all been playing with the lovely new Elisabeth Bell SCACD Winter Window Stamp and hope to give you lots of ideas for your Winter creations!

Christmas Is Coming

Make a Christmas card and/or gift and join in the challenge, you can see Quixotic Inspirations for all the details.

As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it and I wanted to make another "scene" card!  I used the "sister stamp" Day Dreaming, (which is the spring version of this stamp) in -->this post<-- where I made my first "scene" card!  The "siding" of the house was created using my Cuttlebug folder and TH Weathered Wood Distress Ink.
This cutie has been colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen. Icicles were glammed up with Diamond Glaze and then Star Dust Stickles.  Snow was made with Liquid AppliqueMetallic Rub On in Walnut was used on window shutters to add a soft subtle shimmer!  Diamond Glaze was added to the windows to make them appear real.
Fence was made with my MS punch and then Liquid Applique was added for the snow.
The tree has also been winterized with Liquid Applique and snow banks were glitzed with Star Dust Stickles.  I hope you've enjoyed my Winter Window Scene card!

Remember for UK/ EU customers this beautiful stamp is available at Quixotic Paperie and if you're in the US/Canada you can buy it direct from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.

Inky Impressions Anything Goes

Happy Saturday...I hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Yesterday was my Bro's birthday, so tonight we are celebrating!  It's going to be a great time!!!

Yesterday was another Inky Impressions Challenge!  This weeks challenge is ANYTHING GOES. Yes I am a day late getting my post up....between the three interviews, one exam, and funeral for a friend's grandma that I had this past week I didn't get time to finish my project until today.  But I did manage to get it done so I can now share it with you! :)  I've once again used Lili's First Day of School for my project!
I've used my Kaisercraft Gypsy Sister papers and mod podge to cover up a wall hanging.  I thought this altered project would make the perfect wall hanging or desk decoration for a special teacher!
Lili was colored with copics and accented with a white gel pen!  I originally colored two Lili's in this color scheme....the first one was used on this project -->HERE<-- and the 2nd Lili was going to be to used to make a matching card, but then I saw this wall hanging in my studio that I wanted to alter and thought the 2nd Lili would be PERFECT on it!
I've finished the hanging by adding a thankful sentiment, some rhinestone swirls, and of course with a Wild Orchid flowers arrangement that consists of 25mm Wild Rose, 15mm roses, 10mm roses, and 4mm closed rosebuds. Flowers have been sparklized by Star Dust Stickles.

This challenge runs for TWO WEEKS so you have plenty of time to head over to the Inky Impressions Challenge blog and join the fun!  Head over to the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog to see what the DT has created!!!
