More Fall Fun!
I guess I have been on a roll with these card file folders! I have one more to share with you! This one was inspired with all the leaves changing on the trees around here! The sunshine really didn't want to cooperate with me while I was taking the picture! Sorry for the washed out look!

Halloween Note Card Folders
I made a couple Halloween folders to hold a set of note cards to share with you! I want to apologize for the short post today, but me is VERY tired after an extremely long day! I have to meet my mom early tomorrow because we are going to another stamp camp! YAY! My mom also surprised me tonight by telling me that she booked us massages at the spa afterwards! Woo-Hoo! I am hoping to be VERY relaxed tomorrow afternoon! Maybe I will be able to come home and create some awesome projects!
The first folder has some very cool ribbon that I got from Walmart, and I added the little spiders, and spider stamp that I got from the $1.99 hot spot at Archivers!

Here's the inside view with the note cards and envelopes:
And here is a closer look at the different note cards that I made...on the one I used my Martha Stewart fence punch (which was a lot of fun to play with!):
And here is the 2nd folder! I got the scenic elements last year for some scrapbooking pages (that I still haven't scrapped yet...oppsss! hee hee!). Again, I used my Martha fence punch and got the fence to "stick out" away from the paper:

Whiff of Joy Challenge & A GREAT Cause
This card is being used for two challenge entries!
First, I would like to give a BIG round of applause to Cammie. I have seen on numerous blogs the entries for her challenge, and I wanted to play along, not just because there are tons of companies donating candy to give away (almost $1,000 worth of goodies) but because Cammie is doing something for a WONDERFUL cause! Cammie's grandmother passed away in June due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease. To honor her grandmother Cammie has put together a challenge for people to make a card and send it to anyone who works with Alzheimer's patients to THANK them for all that they do! I am keeping mine local and sending my thank you note to our area nursing home for all the wonderful work that they do! To read more about Cammie's story click HERE!
Secondly, Wednesday was the official start of the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog! I was so excited for this blog to start! I am HOOKED on WOJ stamps...and can't wait to get some more!!! The first challenge was to create a card with one of the wonderful Katharina's sketches! I had so much fun making this card...and knowing it was being made for such a great cause there was much love put into making this one!
Here is Katharina's sketch:
And here is my take on the sketch! I hope you enjoy! This is once again Melinda Blowing Kisses (can you tell that I REALLY love this stamp?!) My ribbons stay "thankful" and "grateful" which I thought were awesome to add! There are some colored leaves that I picked up at Walmart and some spare parts flowers with a little leave charm in the middle that I picked up at Archivers for decorations on the top of the card.
On the inside of the card I used a cream colored base paper. Stamped the swirl (from my Baroque Motif SU set) with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in walnut, then used the little flower (also in the same stamp set) stamped with Versamark and embossed with TH gold embossing powder! I think it turned out as elegant at the front of the card!
I wish I could be there when the recipients open the card! I hope they feel as wonderful as we are thankful for all they do for our loved ones!

Whiff of Joy Guest Design Team Call
Katharina of Whiff of Joy Stamps is looking for a Guest Design Team member to fullfill a 2 month spot on her team and play with her lovely stamps! I LOVE the Whiff of Joy stamps, and was VERY excited when I heard of the available position. The talent that Katharina has on her DT is amazing! I would be honored to be in their company for 2 months! I had so much fun coloring and creating for this wonderful opportunity! In order to qualify you had to create a card, or layout using one of Katharina's sketches. Her sketches are so much fun to play with that I am going to share 2 of the ones that I did....these sketches are very addicting because they are so much fun!
The first creation of mine I used Sketch #26:
And here's my entry with Winter Charlotte with Cat. I colored Charlotte and her kitty with my Copics (thanks to Suzanne's coloring tutorials....I now am in LOVE with my Copics)! I used white fun flock for Charlotte's hand warmer, stickles on her hat, martha stewart punch for paper edging, and primas. Can you tell pink and brown is my favorite color combination?
Here is the side view...you can see all the dimensionals that I used to pop the image up!
And here is a close up of Charlotte! Isn't she so cute!!!
The next sketch that I played with was Sketch #12:
I did a spin off of Sketch #12....for those of you who know me....I usually have to alter a sketch a little bit! hee hee! This is a note card folder that I made using Melinda Blowing Kisses. This is my FAVORITE Whiff of Joy stamp! Melinda is so sweet and adorable! I added some little leaves to the image to make it look like Melinda's kisses were in the fall leaves. Melinda was colored using my Copics, and diamond stickles was added to her wings.
Here is the inside view of the folder with the note cards and envelopes.
And here are all of the notecards and envelopes on display!
I hope that my creations earn me a spot on The Whiff of Joy Design Team as their Guest Deisgner! This would be a great accomplishment to achieve!
Thanks for stopping by...and stay tuned for some great Halloween projects coming up the end of this week!

A Fun Weekend is Planned!
Sorry....but no creations for today! It was a pretty busy day for me! I left for school a few hours early and stopped at JoAnn's first! I found a few good deals....got 2 new woven baskets that happened to have the cloth liners in them...and guess what....the cloth liners are pink with brown swirls.....is that so me or what!!!! So I just HAD to get them, and the best part is they were 50% off! Woo-Hoo! Got a bunch of new ribbon to....YES it's sad to admit but I am a total ribbon-aholic! However, I am going to share some of it! Maybe even you could get some of the ribbon I just got today in the blog candy that I am giving away with my sketch challenge! You still have time to enter!!!!
Then I headed off to school where I only had 1 hour of class...which shouldn't have been bad, but we watched a video on Asian burial and art culture ...which wasn't the most thrilling video so I had to try hard to stay awake (which I did...but not by much)!
This weekend is going to be so much fun! Tomorrow I have a stamp camp to go to in the morning, so I will have some fun projects to share with you tomorrow night! Then tomorrow afternoon I am hostessing a Lia Sophia jewelry party! Gots to love bling! Their jewelry is good quaility and has a life guarantee so who can complain about that! And then on Sunday I am planning on crafting all day (in between doing a little bit of homework)! I have to get my butt in gear to make projects to sell at the craft show that I have a booth in the beginning of November!
Hope you all have some wonderful plans for this weekend! Please take a moment and pray for my friend Courtney who's house got hit by hurricane Ike! Courtney and her children have been staying at her in-laws located inland and have been seperated from her husband since the storm! Courtney you are in my thoughts and prayers daily!

Stamp Club Projects!
At my Stampin' Up party a month ago....my friends and I decided to start a stamp club with our Stampin' Up Demo Kersten! She is the GREATEST and such a fun girl! We have a blast with her! Last night was our first official stamp club! There were four of us there but we had so much fun! We made 3 cards...and had to make sets for those girls who couldn't attend last night! We giggled and laughed all night long! We will be meeting every month until June so I am really excited to have my "night out" with the girls! I would MUCH rather be crafting instead of sitting in a bar! Hope you all like our creations!
The first one looked a little difficult with all of the different colors but once we got making them it was easy as pie! I see in my picture that my image didn't stamp the greatest...but at least I got the technique down to try at home now! :) Second was an easier one!
And this 3rd one was my favorite! I got to watercolor for the VERY FIRST time in my life (well at least since I was over 5 yrs. old)! I loved water coloring! Oh boy...I see having to invest in some watercolor tools now!
Sorry the pictures are so dark! It was a rainy day here today so there was no good sunlight to take my pics! Boo! :( I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow too....but we do need it....it's super dry here!
Sending all my love and prayers for those getting hit by hurricane Ike! Sassy Ike...time to go away now!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! And don't forget to check out my BLOG CANDY below!
