It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Oh yes it is! We have at least an inch and a half of snow right now and supposed to get between 2-6 inches total....and it's coming between now and 7AM tomorrow morning! Ick! Just makes it nice and messy to drive to school! Good thing I car pool, having a buddy along makes it a little bit easier to drive in nasty weather!

Now that I know my gift has arrived, I can share it with all of you! For the past 3 months I have been "sistahs" with Tiffaney through the Bella Yahoo Group. I had so much fun getting to know Tiff, she is fabulous! For her final gift I made her a Bella ornament! I got the ornament idea from HERE.
Here is the front of the ornament with Snowbunnybella from Stamping Bella! I used liquid applique around the hood of Bella (which I got from Loreen at Wish On A Scrap)! This liquid applique is so much fun to play with! I will be having a HUGE post about it this week on the Wish blog...so keep your eyes peeled for that! Bella was colored with my Copics!
On the back I put a fun glitter snowflake that I punched out with my Martha punch! Added some glitter to the inside for a colored effect....and because I love bling....so I needed to add it for sparkles! :)
Then I needed a safe home for this ornament for shipping. I found this container laying around so I decorated it up to match my ornament attire.

And it did keep my ornament safe so that is good!

OK....have to get to bed, because I have to be up earlier than usual due to the snow storm! Since I love Christmas so much.....I am going to have some Christmas Blog Candy coming up soon, so be on the look out!

Welcome Christmas!

"Christmas, christmas time is near, time for joys and time for cheer..." I love Christmas time! And Christmas carols are my favorite part of this time of year!!! It's hard to believe that tomorrow is December 1st! WOW...where did this year go! Along with December comes LOTS of holiday fun! Katharina is having a Whiff of Joy Christmas! She has an advent calander with a new door opening every day! Click HERE to go and see what it's all about! I am playing along because there are LOTS of prizes to win! And we all know how much of a WOJ nut I am!!!! I think I am the #1 Fan!

I created a card for my Dad today! He bought a new semi-truck. He's a milk truck driver (he goes to the farms and picks up the milk and takes it to the plant where they make cheese and milk). Well after 12 years he finally got a new one....he so deserves it! I found a site on-line where you can order truck stamps, so I ordered my Peterbuilt stamp and today I made a card to match my Dad's new truck! Of course I was so excited about it, that I totally flaked and forgot to take a pic of it! When I talk to my mom, I will have her take some pics and email them to me so I can share it with all of you!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I have to get going and make my DT Entry for the WOJ Open Designer Call!

So Thankful!

I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING! YAY, it turkey day! I love being with family and eating until I can't eat anymore (which isn't always a good thing! hee hee) :) I am so thankful for all of my friends who I have met in blogger land, who inspire me to no end, and leave me such wonderful comments that truly make my day! I am also thankful for my family who is so supportive of me, especially in my venture back to school to get in Bachelor's degree. I don't know what I would do without my huge support group! :) Love you all!

Today I am sharing a special gift basket that I have made for a very special person...I can't say who as this is still in the mail! I decorated a special Target gift basket with a bunch of fun items!

And here is the bath set that I have modified just a little bit...these colors were so much fun to work with! I used my SU hostess set to make these fun labels. I wish I had more time to decorate them even more....I guess that is what I get for procrastinating!
I also have some special Thank Yous to give! First is a package that I got from my Bella Sistah, Tiffaney! She was so much fun getting to know this past 3 months! She is a great friend, and I am happy to have another friend for life! I love how the package was about my favorite colors (pink and brown)! I got Tilda on Skates....how cool is that?! I can't wait to make a card with her! Thanks Tiff you are the greatest sistah!

And this last picture is the package I just received in the mail this week from Lisa. She was my Secret Angel from my Magnolialicious yahoo group! I got 2 Tildas in one week....how great is that?! I swear Lisa knew me to a "T" when she put this package together! I love it! Check out the super cute planner Lisa made with Tilda holding a rose...and that is the same Tilda that she sent me!

Thank you so very much Tiffaney and Lisa! I absolutely LOVE everything!!!!!
I hope everyone enjoys their extended vacation this week! For all of you Black Friday shoppers I hope you get everything you want to get! I give you credit for going out that early in the morning with so many crazy people running around! :)

WOJ Challenge #9 Entry!

OK...I did get some time to play today! YAY! I was finishing some things for the craft fair that is now this Saturday! WOW....how time flies!!!! I will be happy after the craft fair as then I can craft for fun again! :)

Well I am hoping to sneak my entry in for the WOJ Challenge #9! Enteries are due tomorrow...nothing like finishing at the last minute huh? I did start working on this on Saturday...it just takes me a few days to add all the elements that I want. Here is the lovely sketch done by Miss Heather! I love her sketches! It was so much fun to play along with this one!
And here is my entry! I used Charlotte Singing Carols! I am sad the sun is gone for the day so I had to use my Ott Light to take the picture....I think it kind of washed the color out a little bit! I used my Copics to color dear Charlotte, SU cardstock, and design paper from my stash. The stamps around Charlotte are Stempelglede grunge. The Snowflake felt boarder and liquid applique (used on Charlotte's hat) are from Loreen at Wish On A Scrap. Then prima flowers, ribbon, and charms from my stash!

And here is the inside of the card! I used my Martha snowflake boarder punch, and the snowflakes are from the new SU dies! I just got them today and LOVE them!

I am overall happy with how this one turned out! Hope the DT loves it too....as the winner will get to be guest designer for 2 weeks at the WOJ Challenge Blog!

Another Award!

WOW...I am just being showered this weekend with awards! I am so thrilled and thankful to have so many friends in cyber world! All of you are so kind, and helpful, and inspiring! One of my craft idols, Camilla, gave me this wonderful award, and coming from her it means a great deal to me! I consider Camilla a Rockstar of the crafting world! I would love to spend a day crafting with her just to learn a fraction of what she does! :) Camilla thank you so very much for this award!

Here are the rules: 1.The winner can put the logo on their blog.2. Link the person you received your award from.3. Nominate at least 5 other blogs.4. Put links of those blogs on yours.5. Leave a message on the blogs you have nominated.

I would like to give this award to all of my followers! Without all of you reading my blog and giving such kind feedback, I don't think I would keep up with my crafts! I love all of the great feedback and comments that I get from everyone! So thank you to all of you! This is for you!
Sorry I didn't get my pics posted from this weekend of fun I had with my mom! My sister-in-law is in town visiting for a week, so she was over tonight! I hope to get some of the pics up tomorrow night! Sorry for the delay! I promise they are on the way!

Thank You Bev & Gill!

***Today (Wednesday Nov. 26th) I just learned that I also got this award from Heather and Janneke! Thank you so much blog buddies! You two are the greatest!***

I got this wonderful award from two of my crafting Idols.....Bev and Gill! Both of their work is amazing! You NEED to head over to their blogs and take a look at their stunning projects! Thank you so very much Bev and Gill, this means so much coming from the both of you!!! Here is some info about the award:
This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY- nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement . Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers.
Deliver this award to 8 bloggers who may then pass it on. I've seen this award do the rounds yesterday, so if you've already received this then your extra special :).So, now I'm passing it on to Suzanne, Loreen, Deb, Camilla, Rach, Katharina, Courtney and Lynn- these ladies are amazing crafters and inspire me no end.

Magnolia Vs. Stampavie - Week 3 Entry

I finally got some ME play time today (no homework or exams to study for...YAY)! I should be working on stuff for the craft fair that is coming up next weekend....but instead I decided to just play for fun! Plus I had to make a card for my Magnolia Secret Sister so I can send her gift! Could this card be for you???? I am almost done creating her fun gifts! Just one more trick up my sleeve! :)

I see so many people playing along with the Magnolia vs. Stampavie challenges so I decided to check it out! Oh my....I am hooked! I had so much fun playing this week! This week's challenge was called "Tie That Sketch" which was made by Donna. This sketch was so much fun to play with! I got to ink up my new Magnolia that I got from Loreen at Wish On A Scrap!
Here is my card that I made with the sketch! So what do you think? I think Tilda came out adorable and looks so nice and cozy all bundled up in her coat! Of course the sun wasn't out today so I had to try and take a picture with my Ott Light!

I invented my own bow for this card! hee hee! I was using some wire trimmings and it didn't want to tie every well so I did some "fancy twisting" (it really was just plain twisting...but fancy sounds so much more fun), and love how the look came out! Tilda is colored with my Copics and pop'd up with pop dots! The black background paper and white snowflake punched (Martha Stewart punch) paper are left overs from my wedding invitations, the other papers are DCWV...I love the All Dressed Up paper pack! White applique and holographic embossing powder is used on Tilda's hood! Ribbon, jingle bells, and snowflake are from my stash!

And then here is the inside of the card! I love decorating the insides on cards now! It just makes them look so much more pretty and polished!

Thanks for stopping by!

For my Secret Sister!

A few months ago I joined the Magnolialicious Yahoo Group! For Christmas they do a secret sister exchange....where we get a secret sister to send a lovely package too! Seeing how I got my new Mags from Loreen at Wish On A Scrap....I had to ink one up and make something for my secret sister! I used Tilda with Dalecarlia Coat! I love how this candle turned out! I also used my Martha Stewart Snowflake punches to add a little sparkle to the candle! Tilda was colored using my Copics and after putting her on the candle I added some stickles for accents! Maybe this Magnolia surprise is for you!!!!! I also have a Bella surprise coming up on my blog too! However, I have to wait until it arrives at its destination to show you all, as the special person checks my blog! Hee hee!

I won some blog candy from Susana this past weekend....it's a Karen Lockhart autographed stamp.....I was thrilled to be notified that I won such a GREAT prize!!!! You need to stop by her store: Susana's Custome Art & Card Design! This lady is SUPER talented! She just received some brand new fairy stamps that are a MUST have in my book! I am going to be placing my order soon for some of these whimsical stamps!

Debbie is giving away some great candy! Go and say Hi! I hope that my luck still runs good and I get picked to win this candy....there are Copics involved and this girl LOVES Copics!

Do you love Suger Nellie stamps? Then stop by Gayle and say hi! She is giving away some Sugar Nellie stamps...and also congratulate her because she is now taking over the Sugar Nellie challenge/competitions/tutorial/promotional/inspirational and all that jazz blog!

Stamp Club Fun!

Friday night was my stamp club night! I always look forward to the 2nd friday of the month to get together with my friends! We have such a great time! Although I think I am the slowest one of the group....you can surely tell that I don't have children yet....as I take my time for every step of each project! My demo had so many fun projects this month!

We made a twirly snowflake card! I love how you can wind up the snowflake so when the recipient receives the card and takes it out of the envelope the snowflake spins around and around and around.....!

Then we made this cute 3x3 Thanksgiving Day card! We used the scratch and sniff technique so our pumpkin pie really smells like pumpkin pie! YUM YUM!!!

Then we got to play with the Big Shot and made this cute ornament! I love all the sparkles on it! I think Dazzling Diamonds and I could be GREAT friends....as I always love bling and sparkles!

And finally is a total embossed card from head to toe and inside and out! I really like this stamp set....I might have to break down and buy it! hee hee! And we even got to play with hodge podge hardware! Woo-Hoo!

Stay tuned this week as I have some fun 3D projects that I have been working on to share with all of you! :)

Pictures On The Way!

I got time to play this weekend....and boy do I have some fun things to share with you! However, my hubby took my camera....so tonight when I get home from school I am going to take a bunch of pictures and show you all what I made! So don't forget to stop back later on tonight!

Keeping Me Busy!

So I should be busy creating for my next craft fair coming up in a few weeks....but my hubby has had me working on a different project. We are building a garage on our land...and eventually we will build a house there (when I am done with school and back in the work force)! Our concrete people came this week and formed up the area for the concrete.....but before it can be poured we had to put in the in floor heat pipe stuff. (Can you tell I am not very literate in this building stuff?) Yesterday....when I should have been studying for my Business Stats. exam that was today I was outside (FREEZING...it was only 40 degrees out) helping lay this pipe stuff. My legs hurt so bad today from squatting to cut all the zip tie ends! Now it just needs to stop raining/sleeting/snowing and warm up a tinge so we can get the concrete poured and then it's on to building! YAY!
So this garage will be hubby's winter project! I can't wait to see it all done!

Tomorrow I am hoping to FINALLY get time to play with my Whiff of Joy stamps...and play along with this week's challenge....since school has been consuming my life this past few weeks! I am just itching to craft! :)

I also have some new Magnolias on their way...can't wait to ink them up! Woo-Hoo! Speaking of Magnolias my friend Claudia (who does WONDERFUL work that is simply amazing) has some fun blog candy going on! Please take a moment to look and comment on her fabulous work while you are there!

I also found Ann's blog with some christmas candy!

No New Projects!

Sorry I haven't had any new projects in the last week! I was so busy creating for the craft fair that was last weekend....and while I was set up there I had another vendor come up and ask me to come to her craft fair with my booth the end of November. She loved my stuff and was looking for new vendors to bring to her craft fair.....I was thrilled to be asked.....so I had to sign up! Now I am getting ready for that one!

I had a blast this past weekend at my local craft fair! My mom came and helped me! We actually sold quite a bit (even though there wasn't a lot of people out and about)! I am hoping the next one will bring more customers! Here's a view of my little booth!

This weekend I am hoping to play so I hope to have some projects to share with you soon!
