WOC #65 - Christmas Friendship

Hi Friends! I hope you are all doing great!  Happy December - wow it's hard to believe Christmas is right around the corner and to add to the holiday excitement my hubby and I moved into our new home on December 1st.  We are still in the process of getting all of our things moved to the new house - so my craft room is between two places right now and packed up.  I'm hoping to get that all moved within the next couple of weeks.

Today is a Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge day and our challenge for you that will run for the next three weeks is Christmas Friendship!

This card is made with Festive Peeker from SCACD.  Papers are from the Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas Collection.
Image was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils.  The trim on her dress and boots were coated with pink flock for that fun fuzzy coat look.

Noel

Hi Friends~  I hope you are all doing great and for my U.S. friends you are gearing up for the extra long holiday weekend I hope yours is great!  Happy Thanksgiving to you all!  I am so thankful for my family and friends and for our new bundle of joy on the way.

On the home front - hopefully we will have the final inspection of our house this next week so we can start moving in!  I am so looking forward to getting settled into our home and then getting the nursery set up for Baby G!

I've made a card without using Copics...can you believe it?!  I got this fabulous Memory Box Ornament Die (that I got from SCACD, Susana carries a lot of the Memory Box Dies) that I just had to use for the focal point of a card and I love how it turned out!  Papers are from Bo Bunny Midnight Frost Collection.
Ornament was blinged up using Blue and Silver Self Adhesive Rhinestones from WOC.  The snowflake charm is also a WOC product.  I used my Bow Easy to make the bow on top of my ornament.
WOC flower arrangement #1 consists of: 30mm Wild RoseSmall Poinsettia Blooms with Medium Moonstone Brads8mm Semi-opened RosesLillySmall Silver SnowflakeLarge Hologram Snowflake, and the little Silver Twist accents were made using German Glass Glitter.  You have probably seen these on Bev's creations - thanks hun for sharing your secret of using the German Glass Glitter to make our very own sparkly twists!
Flower arrangement #2 consists of: 30mm Wild RoseSmall Poinsettia Blooms with Medium Moonstone Brads8mm Semi-opened RosesLilly4mm Rosebudsand some more of the little Silver Twist accents were made using German Glass Glitter.  The arrangement was finished off with a  Sparkling Rhinestone.
And one more view!  I hope you have enjoyed my Holiday Creation.

For those of you going Black Friday shopping I hope you get all of the good deals you are looking for! Hubby and I will be venturing out for a little shopping too....but not until the afternoon.....this pregnant mommy doesn't need to fight people at the stores!  lol!

WOC #63 - A Traditional Christmas

Happy Monday!  Did you all have a good weekend?  Mine was great!  I got to spend most of the day on Saturday with my Mom and my amazing friend Ashley - we made my baby shower invitations.  Oh my word did they turn out good...I will share them with you once they are all mailed out.  :)  Then Saturday night my hubby and I went to dinner with some great friends.  Sunday was pick stones out of the yard at the new house day.  I mainly got to drive the tractor around the yard while hubby picked up most of the rocks - this way it will make it easier next spring when we go to plant the lawn.

Today is Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day and our challenge for you is A Traditional Christmas!
I decided to decorate a small frame that I found on one of my shopping excursions after seeing Claudia make these before.  I love how this turned out.
My mini Tilda was colored with Copics and pastels.  Then I added star dust stickles to the bow and fluff on the stocking.  The edges of the image is a snowflake from the Verve Glad Tidings Collection that was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with TH Gold Embossing Powder.
My WOC flower arrangement consists of 20mm Roses, Gypsophilas, 8mm semi-opened roses, an Off-White Plastic Holly Berry, and a 30mm White Leaf.  All flowers were coated with Diamond Stickles.
My WOC flower arrangement consists of a satin bow, 15mm Rose8mm semi-opened rose, and Ivory Flat Back Pearl Trim.
And one more view!  I hope you've enjoyed my holiday creation.  Now head to the WOC Challenge Blog to enter this challenge.

WOC #62 - Bling It Up

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!!  We had a semi-relaxing weekend for once...I just love those weekends where there are not a lot of plans and you can just go with the flow!!

Today is Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day!  I absolutely LOVE the challenge this week....it's BLING IT UP!
This girl is all about sparkle and bling so I had fun with this one!
I've created two little treat baskets for this week's challenge.  I've used a Heartfelt Creations Die to create my basket/boxes!
From the side you can see where you can put your treats!  I think I will fill these with some chocolates!
For the first basket I went for a wintery theme!  I used dark blue cardstock layered on top of a shimmery silver cardstock (notice the bling from that shimmery silver cs!!)  WOC Flower Arrangement was made using: Small Pointsettia, 15mm Rose, 8mm Semi-opened Roses, White Stamens, Silver Baby's Breath, Blue Crystal Chandelier Stem, and Silver Padded Snowflakes.  The handle of the basket was accented with 3mm Self Adhesive Clear Rhinestones.
Basket #2 is all about blue!  I think the Baby Boy I'm having is making this Mommy like blue! LOL!  WOC Flower Arrangement consists of: Wild Rose Bud, Blue Blooms with Stamens, 10mm Roses, Sweetheart Blossom, Gypsophila, 4mm RosebudsBlue Crystal Chandelier Stem, and a Silver Metallic Bow.  4mm Self Adhesive Blue Rhinestones accent and bling up various part of the basket.

I hope you have enjoyed my treat boxes!  Now head over to the WOC Challenge Blog to see what the other fabulous DT members have created!  Then get your bling on!!!

WOC #61 - Silver or Gold

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  This past Wednesday my hubby and I had our 20 week ultrasound of Baby Gruetzmacher and we got to find out the sex of our baby.  We are so happy to say we are having a baby boy!  This weekend we got to spend a lot of time with family and friends and share our good news!  It was a fabulous weekend here!

Today is another fun Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge Day and our challenge for you this week is to use Silver and/or Gold on your projects!
I wanted to create white on white card with silver as my accent and I have to say I love how my winter card turned out!  I figured I better get a jump start on the Holiday cards because once our house is done it will be full force getting set up for Baby on the way! :)  I used my score-pal to create a diagonal diamond background which I then topped with a Paper Doilie.  Behind the paper Doilie I used my Frostyville Border Memory Box Die to create a circle of snowflakes.
Sentiment and snowflake images are from the Verve Glad Tiding set.  The sentiment was embossed with TH silver embossing powder and the snowflakes were embossed with TH Holographic embossing powder.  This was popped up on top of a scalloped circle that was accented with Self Adhesive Rhinestones.
The gorgeous WOC flower arrangement was made using a 25mm Wild Rose, Crochet Flowers, Sweetheart Blossoms, Baby's Breath, 8mm semi-opened roses, Silver Holly Berries, Scalloped Pearls, and Silver Snowflakes.
And one more view!  I hope you enjoyed my first holiday card of the season!
